An Evening of Cake and Little Keepsakes

‎I hope everyone is doing well and in good condition today.
‎
‎Last Sunday, we had a meaningful and joyful day at Casita de Familia.
‎
‎It was a day filled with laughter and moments.
‎
‎I already shared some of the fun activities in my previous post, so today... I'd love to share with you what else happened in the evening.
‎
‎Before we headed home, it was time for a surprise cake.
‎

‎Of course, it deserved a group photo.
‎

‎We almost doubled compared to our morning group picture.
‎
‎After that, we enjoyed the cake.
‎
‎Getting a fork and a plate feels like an extra task, so I didn't complicate things.
‎
‎I picked up a slice and took a bite.
‎

‎Easy peasy.
‎
‎After that, we took a walk around the pool area.
‎
‎We captured photos here and there as souvenirs.
‎

‎Then moments later, we get inside the air-conditioned room.
‎
‎The kids enjoyed dancing then eventually turned into a stop-dance challenge.
‎


‎
‎They moved freely while the music played, then when Ate Marfe paused the video, they also froze! 🤣
‎
‎Surprisingly, they were good at it.
‎
‎So competitive. 😅
‎
‎Then I saw the mirror and found my own kind of fun... mirror selfies. 💕
‎

‎
‎As my hubby went inside, I even pulled him for a quick snap.
‎

‎Somehow the photo looked like we checked into a hotel for the night. Lol. 🤣
‎
‎Anyways, let's get back on the celebration... 😅
‎
‎As a simple token for our three hardworking volunteer crew, Ella Mikha created a personalized thumbprint art keepsake.
‎

‎One by one, we put colors that we liked on our thumbs and pressed them onto the white canvas.
‎
‎For the couples, they suggested forming heart shapes using our thumbprints.
‎

‎If you ever spot "Jeff & Amite", that heart is ours. 🤗
‎
‎This may seem like a small thing, but we hope it will not just be a decoration, but a lasting memory of the hard work.
‎
‎We handed it to them before finally saying goodbye...
‎
‎And that's how our evening ended at Casita de Familia.
‎
