A Beautiful Morning Walk: Kurakding + Mini Forest + Gathering Bamboo

Hey Hive, hope you're all doin' awesome! 🌷💗
In this post, I'm sharing highlights from my Wednesday walk.
A beautiful morning stroll with my son. 🌸

We're here at my parents' place, so our morning walk is accompanied by moist air and warm weather coming from the sun.
As we walked, my son wanted to go to the bridge.
So we made our way there.

This bridge just got repaired after it was broken because of Typhoon Uwan.
As we were walking back and forth, I noticed something...
It was "kurakding", the split-gill mushroom that is a delicacy in our province.

This typically thrives on decaying wood.
But now it's on a bamboo log.
My mom cooked these mushrooms before, so I thought of bringing some home.
While I grab a container for the kurakding, I inform my mom at the same time.
She's the one who loves it.
Then I went back to the bridge and collected some.
I loved how the water below added a nice cool breeze.

Also, you won't easily spot the mushrooms unless you make a closer inspection of the bridge.

And here's what I got..

After that, we continue our stroll at my parents' mini forest, just to get the passion fruit that my son Aiden loves to eat.

We're just taking some, since the chickens already got into it and ate some.
Also, I decided to accompany my hubby to gather bamboo for the internet pole we had arranged with our provider. He's leading the way, until we reach the towering giants.

The bamboo shoots are high and have thorns, making it challenging to get to.

It has sharp defenses. But my hubby expertly avoids the thorns, selecting the best bamboo poles that we need.
After collecting some, I looked around and spotted the only flower plants in the area.
Among the greens, a simple flower stood.
It's called "Aystasia".

Its small blossoms are bright and bring beauty to nature. 🌷
And that's how my Wednesday walk came to an end.
Until my next little memories...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
