Just A Penny - Pen Drawing

20220926_092106.jpg

Hi all, greetings.

Here is my new pen drawing. It's a scribble sketch of a human with wrinkles. It is holding a penny. The palm seems to be ageing with lots of wrinkles around it resulting from too much hard labor.

Despite the hard labor, efforts applied and many hours worked, its reward is just a penny. A lot of people face this on daily basis - especially those with media jobs.

It's high time we start rewarding more on what they do instead of looking down on them and paying a token for their efforts.

This piece was done with a blue ballpoint pen on a cardboard paper using scribble style. My steps can be seen below:

Thank you.

Is it a copper penny or is it a copper coated slab of zinc?

NOTE: Because of inflation, countries tend to change the metal composition of their pennies. So it is common for the melt value of pennies to be greater than the face value.

No need to know weather it is a copper penny or zinc. It could even be a note. So what matters here is the message the piece is trying to pass.

Hope you grab now...

This is a lovely drawing depicting that people should get value out of what they give.

The drawing is so inspirational

Yup, most laborers are always underpaid after spending a lot of time working. It's just that they needed the money desperately so they won't have any other option but to take what is bargained with them.

Small work big reward is what we pray for everyday and I believe it will come to pass. A great interpretation here

Well, maybe so but at least let the value of you offer be equal the the reward you will be getting and not just always damn less.
