Inktober 2022: Day 17 - Salty

This theme seems to be challenging. I spent a lot of time looking for and thinking of something salty to draw. I ending up choosing this particular photo which I found here.

I like the fact that the salt is sprayed on a transparent glass where the reflection of the salt and that of the container can been seen. Even its cover was not left behind. Happy to see how it turned out.

This piece was done with AutoDesk sketchbook application and aided with an S-pen. You can see my steps below:

Hi Max, you are still keep up with Inktober, this idea is great. You are right it is always difficult to know how to interpret the topic of the Inktober month. I like your digital art, I even felt salt in my moth seeing the picture.

Yup. Truth is, you can't always know all. I probably should have gone for something like a plantain with so many salt on it. But would that really make sense? Would one actually see the dissolved salt? Those were my thoughts at that moment until I chose to go for this one. Well, someone else could come up with a better idea.

The best art does that to you. You can't explain it because you just feel it...deep.
