Drawing A Portrait [1081]
Hello everyone!
Today, I want to share with you my new art work. It's a random portrait drawing of a young boy wearing beads round his neck and also using it to make his earrings.
I think the cross hatching style of shading I used on this one was good.
The portrait was done with a blue ballpoint pen on a cardboard paper.

Would really like to know more about the origin of this person. Probably a photograph from pinterest, but it would be cool to know what culture. Part of me is is drawn to your creativity as an artist, but another part is very curious about your subjects. You draw so many kinds of people that some of them seem like they are from another world to me. They are all real people, so there is that element that these are not just people from a random story but real people with real lives.
From another world? Haha, well, that's true cause I do make some sketches of aliens but this one is from this world😊 That’s an African child probably from Kenya or Zambia. I'm not really sure though.

It is nice to see you draw children every now and then. Do the beads have a deeper meaning culturally or are they just ornaments?
I think they do have some atom of meanings ro them and some are for cultural purposes.
