Genus Nisitrus

While I was in my cocoa plantation, I managed to find an insect that looked very much like a grasshopper and also looked quite similar to a cricket, and I could not be sure which one it was. However, judging from its appearance, it was most likely a forest cricket. I found it while it was resting on a leaf. This particular insect was relatively large in size, and the most noticeable part was its two large hind legs, which are usually used for jumping, and that is what makes this insect look very much like a grasshopper. And now the question is, is this insect a pest to plants or not.?

The population of this insect is also considered to be quite stable in my area, and we can easily find them in plantations as well as along the edges of forests. I usually find them in areas that are slightly damp. At that time, I tried to photograph this insect using only my phone camera, because its large size made it a little difficult for me to photograph it with the help of a macro lens.
