Every now and then it is important to look back and reflect on what was and what has been. You don't have to call it “the good old days”, but if you like, you are welcome to use these oft-quoted words. In fact, most of the time this phrase is probably quite appropriate, but I hope that at least the good times will continue and never end.
But for the sake of these mentioned times, I occasionally treat myself to a few memories that I like to bring back to mind. As usual, I only need a few photos to transport me back to days gone by. For example, the time when I was still a permanent guest at the beach where I then was able to let off steam. At the same time, we also managed to live out our creative side, helped by all the flotsam and jetsam you can find here by the sea.
Even though I no longer visit the beach every day, I continue to pay regular visits to my old paradise. And even if what we created back then in our excitement and recklessness has not survived the passage of time unscathed, the memories are still very vivid and come flooding back whenever I go back to the place where it all happened.
Hopefully I'll be able to go there again this year, because one thing I definitely don't want to miss out on is plunging back into the waves a few times and having fun in the water. And I won't be alone and I'm really looking forward to taking my little team out and having fun together. What can I say... I absolutely can't wait!

Ab und zu ist es wichtig, zurückzuschauen und sich dem zu besinnen, was war und gewesen ist. Man muss es nicht gleich "die guten alten Zeiten" nennen, aber wem so beliebt, der darf diese oft zitierten Worte gerne benutzen. Wahrscheinlich ist dieser Ausspruch meist sogar angebracht, wobei ich dann aber hoffe, dass zumindest die guten Zeiten weiterhin anhalten und niemals enden werden.
Aber um dieser Zeiten wegen gönne ich mir gelegentlich auch ein paar Erinnerungen, die ich mir gerne zurück ins Gedächtnis hole. Dabei helfen mir wie üblich ein paar Fotos, die mich schnell zurück in vergangene Tage transportieren. Wie zum Beispiel in die Zeit, als ich noch Dauergast am Strand war und mich dort so richtig austoben konnte. Dabei ist es uns zusätzlich gelungen, unsere kreative Seite auszuleben, wobei uns das viele Strandgut, was man auch bei uns hier am Meer zuhauf finden tut, behilflich war.
Auch wenn ich nun nicht mehr täglich am Strand vorbeikomme, schaffe ich es weiterhin regelmäßig, meinem alten Reich einen Besuch abzustatten. Und auch wenn das, was wir damals im aufgeregten Übermut erschaffen hatten, den Lauf der Zeit nicht unbeschadet überlebt hat, sind die Erinnerungen daran noch sehr lebendig und kommen sofort zurück, wenn ich wieder an den Ort des damaligen Geschehens begebe.
Dort wird man mich hoffentlich auch in diesem Jahr finden, denn etwas, was ich mir auf keinen Fall nehmen lassen will, ist, mich einige Male wieder in die Wellen zu stürzen und mich im Wasser zu vergnügen. Und dabei bin ich nicht allein und ich freue mich schon sehr, mein kleines Team hierher auszuführen und gemeinsam unseren Spaß zu haben. Was soll ich sagen... ich kann es gar nicht erwarten!
