Still going strong =/= Noch immer voller Kraft 👹🍣🎎 Wonderful Japan ENG-GER

When we moved into the house we currently live in, I found some tulips at the backside that someone who loves flowers must have planted there.
As is common in Japan, there is no garden around our house, and it's only about 30 centimeters from the back wall of our house to the edge of the property, so eventually one of the neighbors could have dug some tulip bulbs in there as well.

But whoever had this idea, success proves him or her right. Although we leave the tulip bulbs in the ground and the soil behind our house is probably not the most nutrient-rich and healthy, the tulips grow again every spring and start to bloom. In the beginning there were two different places where the tulips grew, but for some time now they have only been flowering in one place. However, this spring we found five tulips again , which provided some nice red touches behind our house.

I am amazed every time that our tulips come back and start to bloom so beautifully. In the morning it is still sunny here, but as the day progresses the flowers are in the shade, which probably gives them a slightly longer flower life. This time the tulips had been in bloom for almost two weeks. Although the vegetation around them was quite dense, they seemed to want to prove that they were still full of strength and alive even after years.

They have now shed their flowers, but I was once again tempted to take some photos that have now made it into this blog.
The first two photos are from the early days, when the tulips had just started to bloom. The other photos were taken ten days later, but they also show the flowers in all their glory.

I can't wait to see if we can enjoy our tulips behind the house next year too. Again, I'll just leave the tulip bulbs in the ground and not interfere with nature's work. Some things are best left to themselves, so that you can appreciate them all the more later. It's worked out well the last few years, so I am quite optimistic...

Als wir in das Haus, in dem wir zur Zeit wohnen, eingezogen sind, habe ich auf der Rückseite ein paar Tulpen gefunden, die irgendein Blumenfreund dort gepflanzt haben muss. Wie in Japan üblich, gibt es um unser Haus keinen Garten, und von der Rückwand unseres Hauses bis zur Grundstücksgrenze sind es nur rund 30 Zentimeter, so dass letztendlich auch einer der Nachbar dort ein paar Tulpenzwiebeln eingegraben haben könnte.

Aber wer auch immer diese Idee hatte, der Erfolg gint ihm oder ihr Recht. Obwohl wir die Tulpenzwiebeln im Boden lassen und wohl auch die Erde hinter unserem Haus nicht die nährstoffreichste und gesündeste sein sollte, wachsen die Tulpen jedes Frühjahr wieder und fangen an zu blühen. Anfangs waren es zwei verschiedene Stellen an denen die Tulpen wuchsen, aber seit einiger Zeit blüht es nur noch an einem Ort. Aber dafür gleich an fünf Tulpen, welches auch in diesem Frühling für rote Akzente hinter unserem Haus gesorgt hatten.

Ich bin selber jedes Mal von Neuem erstaunt, dass unserer Tulpen wieder kommen und so wundervoll zu blühen anfangen. Am Morgen ist es an dieser Stelle noch sonnig aber im Laufe des Tagen stehen die Blumen dann im Schatten, was ihnen wohl ein etwas längeres Blumenleben beschert. Dieses zwar waren es fast zwei Wochen, die die Tulpen geblüht hatten. Obwohl um sie herum recht dichtes Gras wächst, schienen sie beweisen zu wollen, dass sie auch nach Jahren noch voller Kraft und Leben steckten.

Mittlerweise haben sie nun doch ihre Blüten abgeworfen, aber ich habe mich wieder einmal hinreissen lassen, einige Fotos zu machen, die es nun in diesen Blog geschafft haben. Die ersten beiden Bilder sind aus den Anfagstagen, als die Tulpen gerade aufgeblüht waren. Die anderen Fotos wurden zehn Tage später gemacht, aber auch die zeigen die Blumen noch in voller Pracht und Herrlichkeit.

Ich bin gespannt, ob wir auch im nächsten Jahr mit unseren Tulpen hinter dem Haus rechnen können. Auch dieses Mal werde ich die Tulpenzwiebeln einfach im Boden lassen und der Natur bei ihrem Werk nicht dazwischenfunken. Manche Sachen überlasst man am besten sich selber, und erfreut sich dann später um so mehr an dem, was einem geboten wird. Die letzten Jahre hat es ja auch geklappt...
