Photography is life =/= Fotografieren ist Leben 👹🍣🎎 Wonderful Japan ENG-GER

IMG_0330.JPG

Which images impress us the most and which views inspire at first sight? This question can't be answered that easily, and when you start to think about it, you can't come up with a clear answer. Often photos are ultimately only snapshots of our lives and when we look at them later, the actual moment takes place only in our minds. It is difficult to explain your enthusiasm to others and so it is better to wallow in your memories alone. Even if you would like to share them with the whole world.

I guess that's also the case with today's pictures, which for me at this moment are still full of fresh experiences. They are still warm, although the snow in them makes you feel much colder at the same time. A recent trip brought us almost exactly to the mouth of the Shinanogawa River, and after enjoying some sun before, the sky suddenly closed in and everything became cloudy. But cold and snow couldn't stop us from having a good time that day. And I could get to know my world from a different side again. Which for me also does speak to me from these photos. In a language that possibly not everyone understands, but which is then probably quite universal.

I will listen a little more and make some new plans. Because there is still a lot to tell.

DEUTSCH

Awesome shots as usual! @maxinpower please make sure and read the Updated Photography Lovers Community Rules. You may have to scroll down to the specific section, but please read the Updated Rules as it relates to users on Steem and/or Blurt. You can also check out the comment section for more details and information. Some of the thread is in German.
Thanks in advance. Cheers

Hi there. I read the rules and partly disagree. But it is your community so fair enough. How long will the transition time be, until you start muting users?

Howdy, thanks for taking the time. Did you also read through the comment section as well?

Yeah, there are some long threads in there. But after all of the explaining as to why this decision is being made for just the Photography Lovers Community.... i'm curious to know why or what it is you disagree with. I am not revealing the amnesty period length so as to not let scammers end around the decision.... but to also give enough time for those that choose to power down and liquidate over there, have plenty enough time. I am trying to make this as smooth of a transition as possible and to be fair enough to give everyone and appropriate options for what works best for those users. I have wanted to curate your posts many times but was unable due to your activity on those other places. I have still featured and curated for the community posts so our other users could come support you. So, i am just curious to know where your disagreement is coming from.

We don't have to start a huge thread like the others. hahahha

I don't see the problem of being active on different platforms like Hive, Steemit etc. But I am seeing where you are coming from and won't complain if I can't post in this community anymore. I am mostly posting in the Photography lovers community on Hive and the Japan community on Steem, since my audience (which I hope to have) us unfortunately divided on two different chains now. The reward I am getting is of course not worse the time spent on creating my content, but might be another reason why I am cross-posting. I appreciate your warning before muting users like me, but I guess I will continue things like I have been doing them before. But hey... before leaving this community I will think it all over again. As you said, we still have some time before the doors close.

Yes, i know for some that this might not be an easy decision. I also know that a majority of Steem users and Hive users probably have no idea about the high-jacking and theft of the chain. So, i am with you and haven't personally had any issue with people interacting where they want and generating supplemental income in whichever fair and ethical ways they see fitting for their own situations.

That's exactly the reason i gave such an early notice and won't be closing the doors completely for quite a while. As far as my curation duties... the conflict of financial interest is clearly intrinsic, and something i can't overlook. I had overlooked it for the sake of photography and to be fair. This has been for over a year. Now, the more Hive develops and this community grows... i want to make the stand for HIVE. Not to exclude users, but to have them commit to the actual Community Spirit of HIVE and Photography Lovers.

I would have no grudge against you nor would i have any ill will should you decide you want to stay on both platforms. You will have plenty of time to think it over fully. I have answered all this stuff so much i can't remember if i told you directly.... but it's only a rule in PL community... not all of HIVE. But i have wanted to curate you for OCD on more than one occasion for a bigger vote but have had to passover your posts. I usually still featured them though. I am trying to be as fair and objective about it all as possible. But, i am biased towards the Hive ecosystem since i started just a few days before you and experienced all the drama behind the scenes whilst Hive was being erected.

Most Steem and Blurt users wish they had known all this drama earlier and most said they would have just committed to HIVE. However, your situation is a bit different since you have an actual community and friends over there you are connected with. I would never want to separate friends... but maybe you should get them all to migrate over here instead of staying there!
