It is spider time =/= Es ist Spinnenzeit 👹🍣🎎 Wonderful Japan GER-ENG

Now in autumn you should pay close attention to where you walk. Everywhere in the bushes and hedges you can now discover the most amazing spider webs and of course in them the most amazing representatives of this bizarre but still intriguing species. Spiders are not everyone's cup of tea, but you can discover them all over the world. Although they can also be found at home, I prefer them outside, but unfortunately I can't always choose where to meet them.

Here in Japan, spiders are also significantly larger than in my home country, so that even outside they are often hard to miss. And in addition, they often shine in a slightly nasty yellow hue, which immediately makes it clear that you should perhaps not come quite so close. Better look at the play in front of you from a safe distance, then both can enjoy it, human and spider!

Jetzt im Herbst geht es wieder los und man sollte deshalb genau aufpassen, wo man langläuft. Überall in den Büschen und Hecken kann man nun die tollsten Spinnennetzte entdecken und natürlich in ihnen die tollsten Vertreter dieser bizarren aber doch interessanten Tierart. Spinnen sind ja nun nicht jedermanns Sache, aber man findet sie doch auf der ganzen Welt. Obwohl sie natürlich auch im Hause zu finden sind, sind sie mir doch draußen bedeutend lieber, aber leider kann ich mir nicht immer aussuchen, wo ich hin und wieder auf sie treffen tue.

Hier in Japan sind Spinnen auch bedeutend größer als in der Heimat, so dass sie auch draußen oft nur schwer zu übersehen sind. Und dazu leuchten sie oft noch in einem doch leicht fiesen Gelbton, der einen sofort deutlich macht, dass man vielleicht doch nicht ganz so nah heran kommen sollte. Besser schaut man sich das Schauspiel vor einem aus sicherer Entfernung an, dann haben beide etwas davon, Mensch und Spinne!

And therefore I just look at this black and yellow fellow and try not to disturb him further. Probably he is just waiting for prey and is probably still a bit hungry. I would also be very happy if he would continue to stay only outside and to not visit us inside the house. In return, I like to pay my respects to him on a regular basis. He himself will probably be just as happy not to be noticed too much by us either and to be left alone. Such a spider life is probably not always so easy, therefore sometimes they just want to hang out quietly. And who of us doesn't want to join in that!

Und daher schaue ich mir diesen schwarz-gelben Burschen auch nur an und versuche ihn nicht weiter zu stören. Wahrscheinlich wartet er gerade auf Beute und ist wohl noch etwas hungrig. Ich würde mich auch sehr freuen, wenn er weiterhin nur draußen zu finden ist und uns im Haus in Ruhe lassen würde. Dafür mache ich ihm auch gerne regelmäßig meine Aufwartung. Er selber wir wohl genau so froh sein, von uns nicht allzu sehr beachtet und in Ruhe gelassen zu werden. So ein Spinnenleben ist wahrscheinlich auch nicht immer so einfach, und dann will man manchmal wohl einfach nur in Ruhe abhängen. Wer will das nicht?!
