It is growing =/= Es wächst 👹🍣🎎 Wonderful Japan ENG-GER

It's June and even though the rainy season is still a little way off, things are getting really green around us. It's growing and sprouting and it's really fun to be out and about these days. And the weather is usually really pleasant too, even if the weekends in particular don't always play along.

When you drive through the country these days, it's primarily the many rice fields that catch your eye. The rice plants have now been in the ground for about a month and are slowly growing towards the sky. They are still small, but that should change in no time, even if I am really enjoying this fresh sight right now.

I'm not actually in a hurry, but even I can't stop the wheel of time. That's why I'm just happy about the view that I'm offered and at the same time curious to see what it will look like tomorrow.

But it's not just the rice that's growing, there's also a lot going on in the other fields. Some relatives have planted a lot of potatoes, and the plants have really taken off. The first harvest should start in around one to one and a half months, and I'm already excited to see what will be brought in this time. Picking and pulling up the plants is great fun and I'm really looking forward to digging in the ground again.

Well - sometimes we just need a little change from everything surrounding us - and a little gardening would probably do me a world of good. It quickly takes your mind off things, which in the end will be the real reward.....

Es ist Juni und noch ist es ein wenig hin bis zur Regenzeit, aber überall um uns herum wird es immer grüner. Es wächst und spriest, dass es eine Wonne ist und es macht richtig Spaß, in diesen Tagen draußen unterwegs zu sein. Und auch das Wetter ist meist richtig angenehm, auch wenn es gerade am Wochenende immer ein klein wenig zu wünschen übrig lässt.

Wenn man in diesen Tagen über das Land fährt, sind es vor allem die vielen Reisfelder, die einem ins Auge fallen. Die Reispflanzen sind jetzt für circa einen Monat im Boden und wachsen nun langsam Richtung Himmel. Noch sind sie klein, aber das dürfte sich in kürzester Zeit ändern, auch wenn ich gerade diesen frischen Anblick gerade sehr genießen tue.

Eigentlich habe ich es ja gar nicht eilig, aber auch ich kann das Rad der Zeit nicht aufhalten. Deshalb freue ich mich einfach über genau den Anblick, der sich mir bietet und bin dann gespannt, wie es morgen wohl aussehen wird.

Aber nicht nur der Reis ist am wachsen, auch auf den anderen Feldern ist ordentlich was los. Verwandet haben zum Beispiel ordentlich Kartoffeln gesäht, und die Pflanzen sind richtig in Fahrt gekommen. In circa einen bis eineinhalb Monaten dürfte dann dort bereits die erste Ernte anfangen, und ich bin schon gespannt, was diesmal eingeholt wird. Das Ausgraben und Einsammeln macht richtig Spaß und ich freue mich schon ein wenig drauf, dann hier im Boden buddeln zu dürfen.

Manchmal braucht man einfach ein wenig Abwechslung von all dem, was einen sonst umgibt - und mir würde ein wenig Gartenarbeit wohl ziemlich gut tun. Dabei kommt man schnell auf andere Gedanken, was wohl die eigentlich Belohnung dabei ist.....
