Ein Strandtag im Dezember =/= A beach day in December 👹🍣🎎 Mein Japan GER-ENG

Letzten Samstag hätte man wirklich vergessen können, dass wir uns bereits im Dezember befinden. Der Himmel zeigte sich fast den ganzen Tag wolkenlos und das Thermometer kletterte soagr noch einmal über die 15 Grad-Marke. Selbstredend, dass wir uns diese großartige Möglichkeit nicht entgehen lassen wollten und bereits am Vortag Pläne machten, was wir denn an diesem wundervollen Tag so anstellen könnten.

Unsere Wahl viel schließlich auf den Strand, denn dort waren wir schon eine ganze Weile nicht mehr gewesen. Schwimmen stand leider nicht auf der Tagesordnung, aber zumindest wollten wir die Chance nutzen, ein wenig spazieren zu gehen und unsere Vitamin-D Level aufzufrischen.

Am Meer angekommen, stelle ich fest, dass die warme Jacke, die ich extra noch mitgebracht hatte, dann auch im Auto bleiben konnte. Auch hier wehte nur eine leichte Brise, und das Meer vor uns lag so einladend, wie zur besten Jahreszeit.

Also dann, unsere Stimmung war super gut und nicht nur ich freute mich auf eine kleine Runde an einem unserer vielen Lieblingsorte.

ENGLISH

Last Saturday, you really could have forgotten that we were already in December. For most of the day, the sky was almost without a cloud and the thermometer climbed above 15 degrees again. It goes without saying that we didn't want to miss out on this great opportunity and the day before we had already made plans for what we could do on this wonderful afternoon.

In the end, we opted for the beach, as we hadn't been there for a while. Unfortunately for me, swimming wasn't on the agenda, but at least we wanted to take the opportunity to go for a walk and top up our vitamin D levels.

When we arrived at the sea, I realized that I better leave the warm jacket I had brought with me in the car. There was only a light breeze blowing here too, and the sea in front of us was as inviting as it is at the best time of year.

Well then, our mood was extremely good and I wasn't the only one looking forward to a little walk in one of our many favorite places.

Der Strand wird normalerweise für Angeltouren genutzt, aber nun zur Wintersaison liegen alle Boote auf Land. Keiner möchte hier riskieren, dass ihm ein Wintersturm sein Boot zerballert.

The beach is normally used for fishing trips, but now in the winter season all the boats are on land. No one wants to risk having their boat smashed by a winter storm.

Im Hintergrund sieht man eine frühere Reiserntemaschine, welche jetzt dazu benutzt wird, hier am Strand die schwereren Boote ins Wasser und wieder hinaus zu ziehen. Woanders werden damit auch die Jetskies bewegt, welche es hier zum Glück nicht gibt.

In the background you can see a former rice harvester, which here on the beach is now used to pull the heavier boats in and out of the water. Elsewhere, it is also used to move the jet skis, which fortunately do not operate here.

Die vielen bunten Bootskiele leuchteten wundervoll in der Sonne, so als wollten auch sie dazu beitragen, unsere Laune noch besser zu machen.

The many colorful boat keels were shining brightly in the bright sun, as if they too wanted to contribute to making our mood even better.

Auch diese rostige Erntemaschine scheint noch ab und zu im Einsatz zu sein, obwohl sie schon einmal bessere Tage gesehen hat. Aber hier am Strand sorgt sie noch einmal für ein wenig Aufsehen.

This rusty harvester also seems still to be in use these days, although it has seen better days for sure. But here on the beach, it once again causes a bit of a stir.

Wie bereits geschrieben, war der Himmel blau und das Meer für Dezember außergewöhnlich ruhig. Auf der Mole ganz links waren dann auch etliche Angler dabei, an diesem tollen Tag vielleicht noch einen großen Fang zu machen. Zumindest war man an der frischen Luft, was eigentlich ja bereits den ganzen Aufwand Wert ist.

As already mentioned, the sky was blue and the sea was exceptionally calm for December. There were also quite a few anglers on the pier on the far left, perhaps trying to make a big catch on this great day. At least they were out in the fresh air, which is worth all the effort.

Und auch direkt am Strand boten sich uns immer wieder interessante Anblicke. Überall lagen zum Beispiel Bojen herum, welche die Fischerboote, die hier auf dem Japanischen Meer unterwegs sind, verloren haben.

And right on the beach too, we discovered quite a number of interesting sights. For example all those buoys lying around that the fishing boats that sail the Sea of Japan have lost.

Diese runde Polysterolball war überraschenderweise äußerst leicht, und diente uns von nun an als Strandfußball, mit dem wir eine ganze Menge an Spaß hatten. Wie üblich braucht es dabei für uns gar nicht so viel.

Surprisingly, this round polystyrene ball was extremely light and from this encounter on served as our beach football, which we had a lot of fun with. As usual, it doesn't take much for us to enjoy ourselves.

Bei einigem Strandgut war ich mir nicht sicher, wofür es denn eigentlich verwendet wurde. So ging es mir zum Beispiel bei dieser Polystrolrolle, welche sich hier im Sand sonnte.

I wasn't sure what some of the flotsam and jetsam was actually used for. That's how I felt about this polystyrene roll, for example, which was now basking in the sand.

Auch unsere Schaukel ist immer noch da, auch wenn der Boden unter ihr immer höher wird. Einige Jahre steht sie nun schon hier an diesem Strand und hat uns schon oft ganz besonderen Spaß bereitet. Hoffentlich dürfen wir auch im nächsten Jahr wieder ein wenig in die Sonne schwingen.

Our swing is still there too, even though the ground beneath it is getting increasingly higher. It has been standing here on this beach for several years now and has often provided us with a lot of fun. Hopefully we'll be able to swing in the sun again next year.

So einige vertraute Landmarken haben hier an diesem Strand die letzten Jahre überlebt, auch wenn der Sand unter ihnen immer höher geworden ist.

Some familiar landmarks have survived here on this beach over the last few years, even if the sand beneath them has become much higher.

Aber nicht alle einstmals errichteten Strukturen sind noch so stabil wie früher. Die Elementen die hier am Meer herrschen, sind halt stärker und unnachgiebiger als woanders.

But not all the structures that were once built are as stable as they used to be. The elements that prevail here by the sea are simply stronger and more unforgiving than elsewhere.

Vieles von dem Treibgut, was sich hier am Strand findet, ist schlicht Müll, der leider seinen Weg ins Meer gefunden hat. Wenn man genau hinsieht, kann man erkennen, dass einiger Müll einen ganz schön langen Weg zurück gelegt haben dürfte.

Much of the flotsam that can be found on the beach here is simply garbage that has unfortunately found its way into the sea. If you look closely, you can see that some of the garbage has probably come a long way.

Formen und Farben, davon konnte man hier am Strand eine ganze Menge finden und mit ein wenig Fantasie sich seine ganze eigene Welt basteln.

Shapes and colors, you can find a lot of them here on the beach and with a little imagination you can create your own world.

Leider sieht des Strand nicht überall so schön und einladend aus. In einige Ecken sammelt sich doch eine ganze Menge von all dem Unrat, den das Meer wieder ausspucken tut.

Unfortunately, the beach doesn't look so beautiful and inviting everywhere. In some corners there is a lot of garbage that the sea spits out again.

Aber glücklicherweise zeigte sich der Strand an anderen Stellen genau so, wie ich ihn mir erhofft hatte und auch in Erinnerungen halten werde. In wärmeren Jahreszeiten habe ich genau hier so einige Male gestanden und von diesem Steg bin ich im Sommer immer wieder ins Wasser gesprungen. Und auch im kommenden Jahr werde ich hoffentlich viele Gelegenheiten haben, wiederzukommen und dieses Ritual zu wiederholen.

Jener wundervolle Dezembertag war genau das richtige für unsere Seelen und unsere Körper. Nun wo der Winter an die Türe klopft und die Wettervorhersage den ersten Schnee verspricht, war es um so wichtiger, noch einmal raus gekommen zu sein, um so einen herrlichen Tag genießen zu können. Aber auch im Winter will ich hier vorbeischauen, denn das Meer ist mir zu jeder Zeit des Jahres ein guter Partner. Ich bin mir sicher, wir werden uns immer eine Menge zu erzählen haben.

Fortunately, in other places the beach turned out to be exactly as I had hoped and as I will always remember it. In the warmer seasons, I was standing right here several times and in summer I always jumped into the water from this jetty over there. And hopefully I will have many opportunities to come back and repeat this ritual in the coming year.

That wonderful December day was just perfect for our souls and our bodies. Now that winter is knocking at the door and the weather forecast promises the first snow, it was all the more important to get out again to enjoy such a wonderful day. But I also want to come here in winter, as the sea is a good friend to me at any time of the year. I'm sure we'll always have a lot to talk about.
