A look back into spring =/= Ein Blick zurück in den Frühling 👹🍣🎎 Wonderful Japan ENG-GER

Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter - This is the order in which I would rate and classify the seasons myself. Although I am of course able to find the charm of each season, but spring is clearly number one for me!

At this time, the year is still fresh and above all, it still smells that way. After winter, you suddenly feel really strong and have so many plans for the coming months. Finally, you can really get out into nature again, into the woods and parks, and be outside for longer periods of time. Air and wind are quite pleasant companions during this time and the world around you feels just great, and you have so much energy, for all the great ideas you have in your head.

And that's why I'm starting my little photo review in spring, when we finally got out of the city and also out of the prefecture for a few days. Even if we were not so lucky weather-wise, we were overwhelmed by al the scenery and impressions.

Our little trip had taken us to Nikko, a city located about 100 kilometers north of Tokyo. And that's where today's pictures are from, which should convey a little bit of the mood that had blown around us during our stay. As for me, they also transport me back to those wonderful days that I had spent with the most wonderful people. And therefore I am taking a close look myself while dreaming that I was there just now. As for that, my pictures are a great help to me!

Frühling, Sommer, Herbst und Winter - In dieser Reihenfolge würde ich wohl auch selber die Jahreszeiten bewerten und einstufen. Obwohl ich natürlich jeder Jahreszeit ihren Reiz abgewinnen kann, aber Frühling ist bei mir eindeutig Nummer Eins!

Zu dieser Zeit ist das Jahr noch frisch und es riecht vor allem auch noch so. Nach dem Winter fühlt man sich auf einmal so richtig stark und hat so viele Pläne für die kommenden Monate. Endlich kann man wieder so richtig raus in die Natur, in die Wälder und Parks, und sich für längere Zeit draußen aufhalten. Luft und Wind sind in dieser Zeit recht angenehme Begleiter und die Welt um einen herum fühlt sich so richtig toll an, und man hat so richtig viel Energie, für all die tollen Ideen, die man im Kopf hat.

Und deshalb beginnen ich meinen kleinen Fotorückblick auch im Frühling, als wir endlich mal wieder für ein paar Tage raus aus der Stadt und auch aus der Präfektur kamen. Auch wenn wir wettertechnisch nicht ganz so viel Glück hatten, wurden wir doch von Bildern und Eindrücken nur so überhäuft und überwältigt.

Unser kleiner Trip hatte uns nach Nikko verschlagen, eine Stadt rund 100 Kilometer nördlich von Tokyo gelegen. Und von dort sind auch die heutigen Bilder, welche ein wenig die Stimmung transportieren sollen, welchen uns bei uns unserem Aufenthalt umweht hatte. Mich selber transportieren sie noch einmal zurück zu diesen so wunderbaren Tagen, die ich mit den wundervollsten Menschen verbringen durfte. Und deshalb schaue ich auch selber noch einmal genau hin und träume, ich wäre auch jetzt wieder dort. Meine Bilder helfen mir dabei ungemein!

EInes der mächtigen Eingangstore zu einem der imposanten Mausoleen Nikko, welche einen zurück in die Zeit der Tokugawa-Shogune bringen.

Stone lanterns, called toro, line the path and blend in perfectly with the surroundings. There's simply no need to be in a hurry here.

Steinerne Laternen, Toro genannt, säumen den Weg und fügen sich perfekt ein in die Umgebung. Hier hat man es einfach nicht eilig.

Chuzenji-ko, a lake located at an altitude of over 1000 meters always manages to inspire me. Even if it was raining up here all the time, but that was nothing new for us.

Chuzenji-ko, ein auf über 1000 Metern Höhe gelegener See schafft es immer wieder, mich zu begeistern. Auch wenn es wie beim letzten Mal hier oben nur geregnet hatte.

But despite the weather, the atmosphere here was intense and I had enjoyed every minute we had spent looking around. I guess the dense deep clouds are just part of this place.

Aber trotz des Wetters war die Atmosphäre hier intensiv und ich hatte jede Minute genossen, in der wir uns ein wenig umgesehen hatten. Die dichten tiefen Wolken gehören hier wohl einfach dazu.

I could have looked out at the lake for a long time. This view started to become immensely attractive to me.

Ich hätte noch lange nur auf den See hinaus schauen können, welcher eine ungemeine Anziehungskraft auf mich entwickelt hatte.

But there was also a bit of color to see on this dull day, including some of the yae-zakuras that were just blooming.

Aber ein wenig Farbe gab es an diesem trüben Tag auch zu sehen, unter anderem von den gerade blühenden Yae-Zakuras.

Ebisu, the god of fishes was also around and as usual he greeted us with a friendly smile.

Ebisu, der Gott der Fische war auch dabei und hat uns wie üblich mit einem freundlichen Lächeln begrüßt.

The fragile sakura flowers appear all the more in wind and rain. You really feel like protecting them so that they will survive a little while longer.

Die zerbrechlichen Sakura-Blüten wirken um so mehr bei Wind und Regen. Man möchte sie am liebsten beschützen, so dass sie noch einige Zeit überleben werden.

This set of Jizo statutes is meant to protect the wanderer on his paths. We also placed ourselves under their protection and subsequently arrived safely at our next destination.

Diese Reihe von Jizo-Statuten soll den Wanderer auf seinen Wegen behüten. Wir haben uns auch in ihren Schutz begeben und sind anschließend sicher an unserem nächsten Ziel angekommen.

Herewith ends our little picture show, which seems to reveal a little bit of the mystical side of Japan. Of course, this year we also got a lot of sunshine to enjoy, but especially Nikko I always associate with low-hanging clouds, rain and fog. Let's see if we can get there again one day and if the weather god will show a different side then. All good things come in threes, so there is still hope.

Hiermit endet unsere kleine Bilderreihe, welche auch ein wenig der mystischen Seite Japans zu zeigen scheint. Natürlich gab es in diesem Jahr auch viel Sonnenschein zu genießen, aber gerade Nikko verbinde ich immer mit tiefhängenden Wolken, Regen und Nebelschwaden. Mal schauen, ob wir eines Tages noch einmal dort hin kommen und ob sich der Wettergott dann von einer anderen Seite zeigen wird. Alle guten Dinge sind ja nun einmal, daher besteht noch Hoffnung.
