A little night view =/= Ein kleiner Nachtblick 👹🍣🎎 Wonderful Japan ENG-GER

We are once again in Tokyo and today we treat ourselves to a little night view over the famous shopping street Naka-mise-dori, which leads directly to the magnificent temple Senso-ji. Having already pushed our way through the crowds of visitors down below during the day, we now enjoy a quiet view over the tourist district of Asakusa.

With some research, I had found a not-so-hidden viewing platform, from which we now admired the great night view. Even at this not-so-late evening hour, there were still some people walking down there, although the many stores that offer their many souvenirs and snacks left and right of the path during the day had already been closed for a while.

And also Senso-ji Temple is showing up in the dark and is presenting itself from one of its many wonderful sides. And of course we will stop by there again later on our way home As usual, I will also have to take a few more photos there, even though I have already lingered at this temple many times before.

Wir sind mal wieder in Tokio und heute gönnen wir uns einen kleinen Nachtblick über die berühmte Ladenstraße Naka-mise-dori, welche direkt zum ehrwürdigen Tempel Senso-ji führt. Nachdem wir uns bereits tagsüber durch die Besuchermassen durch unten gedrängt haben, genießen wir nun einen ruhigen Ausblick über das vor uns liegenden Touristenviertel Asakusa.

Mit ein wenig Intuition habe ich kurz zuvor eine gar nicht so versteckte Aussichtsplatform ausfindig gemacht, von der wir nun den tollen Nachtblick bestaunten. Auch zu dieser noch nicht ganz so späten Abendstunde waren noch einige Menschen dort unten unterwegs, obwohl die vielen Geschäfte, die tagsüber links und rechts des Wegs ihre vielen Souvenirs und Snacks anbieten, schon längst geschlossen waren.

Und auch der Senso-ji Tempel zeigt sich im Dunklen von einer seiner vielen wundervollen Seiten, und auch wir werden dort später auf dem Heimweg noch einmal vorbeischauen. Wie üblich werde ich auch dort noch ein paar Fotos machen müssen, auch wenn ich schon oft an diesem Tempel verweilt habe.

Tokyo is, of course, a city that never sleeps, and therefore you will still meet a few people everywhere during the night hours. People who come from somewhere or are on the way to somewhere. For us, the day was now almost over, but we did not really want to go back to our hotel yet.

Tokio ist natürlich eine Stadt, die niemals schläft, und deshalb wird man auch in den Nachtstunden überall noch ein paar Menschen antreffen, die von irgendwo kommen oder irgendwohin unterwegs sind. Für uns war der Tag nun fast vorbei, aber so richtig wollten wir dann doch noch nicht zurück ins Quartier.

I would have preferred to stay up here for a little while longer and then take a long walk around the city. But sometimes it's just time to end the day that lies behind you. Tomorrow there will be enough time to discover something else...

Lieber wäre ich noch eine Weile hier oben stehen geblieben und hätte anschließend noch eine große Runde durch die Stadt gedreht. Aber manchmal ist es wohl einfach Zeit, den Tag, der hinter einem liegt zu beenden. Morgen gibt es ja ja auch wieder genug Zeit, etwas zu entdecken...
