Lately, I’ve been spending a lot of time with colleagues in various photography workshops. I have to say, you really learn a lot — even from other students. But it’s true that sometimes, with all that theory, you really miss the practical side. That reminded me of the lighting workshop at ISA — those were days filled with so many shots 😏

The images I’m sharing today are from a break we took. Since we were a bit bored, we couldn’t think of anything better to do than pick up the camera — and hey, might as well practice what the teacher had taught us earlier.

They’re simple portraits, lit with a single light source and a little trick or two 😅

Hola, amigos, ¿qué tal van los preparativos para estos días de fiesta? 🎉

Últimamente he estado compartiendo con colegas en varios talleres de fotografía. He de decir que se aprende mucho, incluso de otros estudiantes. Pero sí es verdad que a veces entre tanta teoría hechas de menos la práctica. Esto me hizo recordar el taller de iluminación del ISA, fueron días de muchos disparos 😏

Las imágenes que les comparto son de un momento de pausa, y como nos aburríamos no encontramos otra manera de pasar el tiempo que usando la cámara y ya de paso poníamos en práctica lo que anteriormente nos había enseñado el profesor.

Son retratos simples, apoyados con una sola fuente de luz y algún truquillo 😅
