Today, it’s time to settle some debts — so let me tell you how we wrapped up the session we started with Rocío.

The girl you see next to her in the cover photo is her cousin — and maybe some Cuban hivers will recognize her from the recently-ended Cuban telenovela 😅

Well, let me tell you — that day they arrived together, and no, Amanda didn't come planning to get her photo taken. She was just there to accompany her cousin and see what modeling work was like.

And that’s where the keen eye of our dear Heisher came in. He noticed something in her right away that caught his attention. But, as you can imagine, Amanda was still a minor at the time. Rocío mentioned that if we wanted to photograph her, we had to talk to her mom first. And that’s exactly what we did — with the added promise that we’d show her mom the photos first and only share them online if she gave her permission.

Everything moved very quickly. Once we got the green light, Gio got to work on makeup while I wrapped up my last shots with Rocío.

Believe it or not, Amanda’s only experience had been her quinceañera photos — but as you can see, Rocío’s influence was noticeable, and her ease in front of the camera felt completely natural. Even though we only took a few photos (we didn’t want to overstep the permission we were given), Amanda truly shone in front of the lens. I enjoyed the experience more than ever, reassured by what an amazing team I was working with 💪🏾

Hola, queridos hivers de la comunidad #blancoynegro 👋🏾
Bastante tiempo alejada, más de lo que hubiera querido, pero ya aquí estamos de regreso. Espero hayan tenido un excelente comienzo de año y lo sigan disfrutando 🙏🏾
Hoy toca pagar deudas, así que les cuento de cómo terminamos la sesión que comenzamos con Rocío.

La chica que ven junto a ella en la portada es su prima, y quizás muchos hivers cubanos la reconocerán de la telenovela cubana que recién culminó 😅
Pues les cuento que ése día llegaron juntas y no, Amanda no iba con la idea de hacerse fotos, sólo acompañaba a su prima con la idea de ver su trabajo como modelo.

Y ahí es donde entra el ojo de nuestro querido Heisher. Él vio algo en ella que enseguida le llamó la atención, pero imaginen ustedes, en ése momento Amanda aún era menor de edad. Rocío nos comentó que para poder hacerle fotos había que hablar con su mamá y pues eso hicimos, con el compromiso además de enseñarle primero las fotos a ella y sólo las compartiríamos en alguna página sólo si ella estaba de acuerdo.

Fue todo muy rápido, en cuanto nos dieron el sí, Gio se puso en función del maquillaje mientras terminaba mis últimos disparos con Rocío.

Aunque no lo crean, Amanda sólo había tenido la experiencia de las fotos de 15 pero como pueden ver, la influencia de Rocío se notaba y su desenfado era totalmente natural. A pesar de que fueron pocas imágenes (no quisimos abusar de la autorización), Amanda se lució frente al lente. Yo disfruté la experiencia como nunca confirmando el tan buen equipo con el que compartía 💪🏾
