A late afternoon dip from el Bleko / Una tarde para refrescarse desde el Bleko [Eng/Esp]

Hope you're having a great week so far.

Today I’ve decided to share with you some snapshots that, curiously, I had always avoided. The Malecón (or "el bleko", as the locals call it) has been the star of many photographers’ work in its different facets—as a simple sofa, a landscape, or even a springboard for mischief.

It was during one of those photo outings with friends that we ended up there unplanned, and once we arrived, I couldn’t resist taking out my camera. I can’t deny I started shooting with fear; there are so many references with incredible results, but nothing has ever been written about the timid, so the clicks began to flow.

It’s remarkable how fearless these visitors are as they cool off. I can’t stop thinking about times when the weather hasn’t been so gentle, and yet they return, facing Poseidon without a drop of fear in their leaps.
Luckily, this was just an afternoon of bright sun and almost no waves. I hope you enjoy the images as much as I did. Let me know what you think!

Espero hayan tenido un excelente semana hasta el momento.

Hoy he decidido compartirles algunas instantáneas que curiosamente siempre había evitado. Y es que el malecón (o el bleko, como lo conoce la gente de la zona) ha sido protagonista de muchos colegas en sus diferentes facetas. Desde simple sofá, paisaje o hasta trampolín de travesuras.

Fue en una de esas salidas fotográficas con amigos que terminamos allí sin planificarnos y ya en el lugar no pude evitar sacar la cámara. No puedo negar que comencé a disparar con miedo, son muchos los referentes con resultados increíbles, pero de los cobardes no se ha escrito nada así que los clics comenzaron a fluir.

Es notable el desenfado de estos visitantes para refrescarse y no puedo dejar de pensar en los momentos en los que el clima no ha sido tan apacible y aún así ellos regresan, enfrentándose a Poseidón sin gota de miedo en sus saltos.
Por suerte esta fue sólo una tarde de mucho sol y casi nada de oleaje.
