Different planting season with different species of crops to be planted and in this type of environment we have a lot to offer I mean in West Africa there are so many crops that can survive and be cultivated within a short period of time the result will be massive. Although so many farmers engage only on the same type of crop or specie which I believe that it is not too good for a upcoming farmer or growing farmer. When you discover yourself you need a lot of great movement to achieve your aim which means that going into different type of crops will engage you to know more about the crop and how to cultivate it even from seed preparation.

The land preparation is highly necessary and very important for any type of crops to be planted in agricultural mindset it is a must to prepare your land in such a way that it will add more nutrients, value and fasten up your seed to make it grow more better. I've seen so many farmers who actually plant on mere soil , whereby nothing extra was added to the soil and what they planted on it came out absolutely great and the yield was also encouraging but this case is not too common. Only on Virgin land. I went to a friend's Farm and I saw this encouraging type of farming system and I took it upon myself to take some pictures and show us how things was done. This is a watermelon farm.
It was planted more than 3 months ago and this was this present situation with some fruit already close to harvesting. This is also an encouragement for us farmers that nothing is impossible. Even when you do not have a very good knowledge about the crop you can give it a go ahead trial. And you keep your records up to date. Gradually it will come to stay and you will make a successful farming season.

• When the watermelon seed was planted initially the plant Farm preparation engagement was 80% completed in the sense that when the land was cultivated they added a little bit of poultry droppings which help the watermelon seed to grow more faster and also come out in this manner of growth and development. You can see that the leaves are very grown-up likewise there are a lot of sprouting fruits pods.

When planting the watermelon seed there are some rules to follow such as when the watermelon plants eventually sprout out you must not touch the plant itself or else, it may dry off naturally. I got this observation when I planted my own watermelon seed several months ago when I did a trial on the planting experiment. I said really touch the plants when it was growing up also when it started fruting and showing up my flowers. I did not know that I mustn't touch it. When I got there after few days everything was dead Totally and dried up.

For a very good and viable healthy watermelon seed, it must germinate with them 7 to 10 days. The growing up and reaching its maturity stage should be around 4 -5 Months of age. So when it's not to bring out the watermelon fruit you need to change it direction so that's where it already placed on the soil will not start to rotting. You keep changing the direction and also please it on a plank.

As soon as you see that the Leaves or the Vine is getting more dry by itself. You can test the watermelon 🍉🍉 by sampling method to be assured if it fully matured for harvesting finally.
