Getting Into Full Practical PLANTING Of Maize 🌽🌽 Seed With Hybrid Specie. || Getting More Work Done After A Heavy Rainfall. No Rainfall No Work Done.

- At a time like this you need to get to work and fulfill the promise of a farmer which simply means that you need to provide food to eradicate poverty and hunger in due time. So many people engage in Farm activities in a wrong timing. That is why we as individual farmers we need to get into a very good timing for planting of crops. When the time is right then you can continually produce food without any delay in rainfall pattern whatever. You should also take note of your immediate environment if it will be very healthy for you too start growing crops at a particular point in time. In west African Nigeria if you are in a very good and favorable weather condition and state. The first two rings you can start cultivating your seed into the soil and within the range of the third rainfall, what you have planted will have start sprouting out and growing up gradually to some extent.
The processes showed that a cultivation of maize was done which also showed the step-by-step method after the cultivation of the agricultural Farmland was done properly.
This was one of the Maize specie that we have here in west African Nigeria which also grow are mature within 3 to 4 months of cultivation. This simply means that we have different species of seed varieties. So you need to ask excellently well where you can source for your own good and hybrid seed before you cultivate them.
Mainly I use cutlass for this process and task. Why are used cutlass was that there are specific tools for specific task on the farm. So you need to choose rightly so that when you are handling the cultivation of the seed it will be easier for you and it will make a lot of great improvement in your crop production.
When you are planting your maze you need to make sure that they agricultural Farmland is exclusively neat and clean. why I said this is because within the range of 7 to 14 days before the weed starts to compete with the cultivated to seed or crop. It will have sprouted from the soil and gained a lot of strength for fast growth for the cultivated crops.
- The cultivation progresses as shown in the pictures. The pictures was taken by @little-vickie because I'm also training out for a lot of things on the farm. So I gave her the camera to at least take some pictures and do some corrections about it. And also to train her how it is been done correctly.
When I was planting the seed I made sure that all the necessary precautions were absolutely in place. Some of the precautions that needed to be done was to make sure that there should be a heavy rainfall before this task should proceed. Also I needed to be assured that the agricultural Farmland is absolutely healthy for planting and cultivation of seed true some practical experiment and examinations.
I also make sure that the interval of the planting of the seed are not too close to each other. When you are planting your seed you need to make sure that they distance between one another is not too close. When they are too close it will reduce their production as Time goes On take care is not taken.
- the digging of the soil should not be extremely too deep when planting the Maize seed. You should also take note of this or else it may get burnt or dead inside the soil.
There are some seed that needed to go down the soil just like the Maize seed but not too deep. So many people or farmers make this mistake and expect to see what they have planted to grow or germinate. When I visited a farmer recently and I saw him making advance in planting of corn, when is started planting late then I made a correction instantly although he also complained about shortage of MAIZE production last planting season. Here we go this season again.
I also ensure that when I finish planting one stand I endeavor to press it downward so that the top soil will have a very good contact with the soil likewise the soil below. It looks extremely difficult to explain but that is how it is.
You need to match the already cultivated spot very well so that there will be a very close contact. That also there will be a very fast germination. Sometimes when you plant some seed and they did not germinate at the right time it means that they may not have a very good contact with the soil when you plant them.
You also need to keep your records intact so that you will know the exact day and date what you have cultivated starts to grow one after the other. And when it starts to mature or get to next stage.
