Hello Hivers ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’˜,

Different type of farming and approaches should be done to crops accordingly and this is why there is always revisit in Farming Lifestyle. When you revisit your farm you will absolutely know where you are lacking behind. They are also what should be done so that your crops will at least gain more and massive production. Just like in the case of watermelon which I have done the farming once and this moment is also the privilege again and I am utilizing every step and everyday to see that the production is much more massive and more presentable this time around.

The last time I cultivated the watermelon it was not as much as this at all. But now I'm extremely excited and more calm. when you talk about the flowering, the fruit pods, the Green leaf formation, the Vine production. This vine production is to show to what extent the vine grow. This time around there is more improvement in the watermelon farming because I also took my time and I also put all my efforts in it.

This is why you always need to explore more in agriculture. You must not just be in one side of learning and in farming. When you practice a cultivated crops and you are lacking behind, you must also find some another great alternative which you can really work on to improve your learning and your knowledge even though you are in one way or the other facing financial challenges. You must keep it slow and steady. When I got to the watermelon section of the farm few hours ago it was a really good motivation for me because even though we have not had rainfall naturally for the past few days I also engage in a irrigation system to assist in the crops to grow more better and to utilize what I have on ground.

  • In as much as the cultivated agricultural Farmland is very nutritious in terms of nutrients supply then you will be able to capture with more productive Grounds.

I have more watermelon fruit pods that are coming up and I also took a lot of pictures of them. There are some that are already in growing stage. This is what I mean we have different stages that I have learned in watermelon farming.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF WATERMELON STAGES.

Watermelon is very fragile as well just like some animals. So I do not even intend pick them up when they are extremely small. That is why I went to them to show us the rate at which the develop. The stages that I know practically is very physical in the sense that the flowering stage is one of the states that you need to look out for in every watermelon farming. No matter how big or small the farm is when it starts to show the sign of flowering then you are extremely lucky.

The stages at which I see myself even when I am on the farm is the pods or fruiting stage. This is a state that I know of that is very fragile even when you are trying to eradicate unwanted plant. You must be able to handle this situation or task carefully or else your watermelon Vine will all be cut off slightly.

This was the one I placed on a plastic cover to ensure much more safety and a very good growth. I noticed that some of them that were on bare soil were exposed to so many predators.

As I was moving around the watermel farm I was also monitoring the flowers. This flowers are the main productive means for watermelon farming. if there is no flower at all then there is a problem

THE PREDATORS.

When I was working around this was what I saw. This small snails they also feed on the watermelon fruit pods that are not even matured at all. I think they enjoy licking the back of the watermelon fruit itself.

What I observe was that immediately the flower changes and turn to watermelon Pods it will start attracting predators like snails and I also found some flying birds. Pecking on the flowers. This may also be a disadvantage because of how fragile the flower is.

This was where I found the small snails feeding on the back of the watermelon Pods.

It's really beautiful to see different stages of how watermelon grows. But really is there something that can be done to eradicate snails from the farm land because I have heard plenty people complain about how snails usually destroy their produce?

It seasonal. Sometimes we farmers faces them alot but during the dry season it is very limited due to low water consumption.. During the raining season we have too much rainfall
