Crops Growing Stunted, Showing More Negative Effects And Results As Attractiveness To No Constant Rainfall For 4 Weeks || Farming Without Rainfall Means No Production And Loss Of Effort😭😭

Hello Hivers 💕💘,

When you are talking about planting of crops they maze is a very common one that you can ever see even on local farms. Local garden and within a certain compound. In some States there is a lot of privilege whereby the compound can be used for farming instead of sourcing for another acres of land or hectares of land. It is also farming in a short word. But in this article I visited a farm that is cultivated on a large mass of hectares of land. That also gave me a lot of privilege to assure myself that farming is a very big business to feed the community at also the nation at large.

When you are financially stable going for a very good mass of agricultural actors of land is also great only if you have the positive mindset and a little bit of deep ideas on the particular crop you are going for. For this type of Farm it is called a sole cropping system. I also love this method only that you have a privilege of cultivating just only one crop on hectares of land. When they grow to its maturity stage and you harvest them that is all. There will be no supportive crop growing on the same piece of land. Which I will not really take this idea. For me as individual farmer I love it when I mix crops so that after one has reached it maturity stage another set of crop will continue and within 4 weeks or 8 weeks the other crops will have also reach it maturity state. Then harvesting will begins.

When I entered the farm it was mainly Maize Farm. No mix up with any single type of alternative crops. I took my time to move along the pathway inside the farm and it was just the crop alone. I took some pictures of how they crops are at the moment although there was no rainfall for a very long time so the growth and development of them are becoming somehow stunted. And any form of stunted growth in farming relate to know production of any kind.

  • If you absolutely can distinguish between a very good and healthy means crop and the other side you will see that at the point of capturing days Farm they were a lot of disagreement between the growth of the Maize and the soil. Disagreement mean that when there is no rainfall for more than 4 weeks what do you expect the soil to become of. No nutrient absorption.

The maize showcase green pigment even to the face of individual but deep down into the soil I noticed that there was no growth at all. The stable growth as brought in some of the leaves to become yellowish and brownish without any signs of flowering stages at all.

Most times that is why before you even go into farming I always emphasize on this. You first of all need to survey the environment so that even the agricultural Farmland may be fertile but when there is no constant rainfall aside when you are in the dry season then there will be a lot of havoc along the line just like this. The farm is looking good without much weed around the cultivated crops but no rainfall to support it growth.

Practically speaking with the look of this Farm they MAIZE 🌽🌽 needs more than 4 to 5 heavy rainfall. To support it growth and development or else the farm will just grow stunted as it is without any production.

One particular factor that initiate a very good growth and development of a farm quickly is rainfall or any type of irrigation system. Practicing irrigation system may be extremely costly and stressful. You need a lot of labor to act on this although you can also use machines. But in this world of today using of machinery may also attract a lot of huge financial expenses as well. So natural rainfall is highly very much more supportive in this case.

I feel when one wants to go into large scale farming they should make plans for alternatives, imagine depending on just rain. Digging boreholes are expensive at first but it will definitely serve its purpose. The climate is changing, rain doesn't fall like before, so it would be best for more farms to start thinking irrigation farming, if not they will be farming in loss.

Just like in the case of this farm. No irrigation system. Nothing. I fear a great loss. But if the rain falls more. The farm will survive to some extent.

what you shared about farming experience is truly important especially the impact of the lack of rain fall in the growth of corn. It's heartbreaking to see so much effort lead to delayed harvest due to water shortage but your dedecation as a farmer who continue
To persevere despite the challenging of I nature is truly admirable. I hope the rains come soon and your harvest turns out abundant. Thanks you for shedding light on the real situation farmers face it inspiring and full of lesson🙏🙏🙏
