A beautiful micro-world (Koniuszanka Reserve II) - Joyful Journeys #3

Hi, Another nature reserve behind us, this time I was not disappointed and had a very nice time with @aleximprovement. We visited Koniuszanka II, a medium-sized forest reserve that enchanted us with its beauty. I invite you to take a read!

A bit of history and information

Koniuszanka II is a landscape reserve that was established in 1978. It covers an area of 64.06 hectares and is located in the Nidzica district, near the settlement of Pólko and the local recreation centre "Gawra", in the area of which there is the beginning of a 2.5-kilometre-long educational trail, which led us through this wonderful reserve.

The whole reserve is situated in a picturesque Masurian forest, and a walk through it will be enjoyable for everyone, thanks to the educational path and quite a number of benches for resting. Koniuszanka is beautiful and looks like a very well-kept place. I didn't notice a single piece of rubbish during the whole hike, I was surrounded only by nature and the information boards and structures of the nature trail. After a recent trip to Orlowo, I am slightly oversensitive about litter in reserves. A beautiful river runs through Koniuszanka, and it is an ideal place to observe and photograph nature. There is no shortage of animals here either, we could hear birds singing everywhere and a deer ran across the forest path. We almost managed to take a picture of a black woodpecker, unfortunately it escaped at the last moment. In this reserve I took many nice photos and I regret that I could not stay longer, because I wanted to take even more of them.

Summary

If you are ever in the area, I strongly encourage you to visit this place. Here you can relax in nature and enjoy the view. In my opinion, it is even nicer reserve than the springs of the river Lyna, which I have already written about (Link). Unfortunately we arrived quite late and didn't explore the whole reserve, but it gives me an excuse to come back here again e.g. in winter. Greetings!

Koniuszanka II jest rezerwatem krajobrazowym, który został ustanowiony w 1978 roku. Jego powierzchnia to 64,06 hektara i położony jest w powiecie nidzickim, nieopodal osady Pólko i tamtejszego ośrodka wypoczynkowego "Gawra", w okolicy którego, jest początek 2,5-kilometrowej ścieżki edukacyjnej, która prowadziła nas przez ten cudowny rezerwat.

Rezerwat przyrody Koniuszanka II

Cały rezerwat położony jest w malowniczym mazurskim lesie, a spacer po nim będzie przyjemny dla każdego, dzięki ścieżce edukacyjnej i sporej liczbie ławek do odpoczynku. Koniuszanka jest piękna i wygląda na bardzo zadbane miejsce. Przez całą wędrówkę nie zauważyłem nawet jednego śmiecia, otaczała mnie tylko natura i tablice informacyjne oraz struktury ścieżki edukacyjnej. Po ostatnim wypadzie do Orłowa jestem lekko przewrażliwiony na punkcie śmieci w rezerwatach. Przez Koniuszankę przepływa piękna rzeka, jest to idealne miejsce do obserwowania oraz fotografowania natury. Nie brakuje tu też zwierząt, wszędzie było słychać śpiew ptaków, a przez leśną ścieżkę przebiegł nam jeleń. Prawie udało nam się zrobić zdjęcie czarnego dzięcioła, niestety uciekł on w ostatnim momencie. Na terenie tego rezerwatu zrobiłem, wiele ładnych zdjęć i żałuję, że nie mogłem zostać dłużej, gdyż chciałem ich zrobić jeszcze więcej.

Podsumowanie

Jeśli będziecie kiedyś w okolicy, to gorąco zachęcam do odwiedzania tego miejsca. Można tu odpocząć na łonie natury i nacieszyć się jej widokiem. Według mnie jest to nawet ładniejszy rezerwat, niż źródła rzeki Łyny, o których już się rozpisywałem (Link). Niestety przyjechaliśmy dosyć późno i nie zwiedziliśmy całego rezerwatu, ale daje mi to pretekst, aby tu jeszcze wrócić np. zimą. Pozdrawiam!
