Hello Everyone it's me masterzarlyn28 in the hive! I will share with you this beautiful insect that I captured mating. At first glance, I though it is just a big butterfly, upon looking closely it was an amazing moment to witness and capture a butterfly mating.

Butterfly mating is an intricate procedure that involves four stages: partner search, wooing, copulation, and separation. The male searches for a female mate by soaring around and releasing pheromones, while the female signals her willingness by expanding her abdomen. The male and female separate after copulation and the female lays eggs on a host plant.
