Unos patines para un azul insecto / Skates for a blue insect
Mis patines están viejos
y ya no me quedan buenos,
son azul cielo
brillantes y ligeros.
En una caja los guardo
y de la casa los sacó,
en la puerta los voy dejando,
el camión de la basura hará su trabajo.
My skates are old
and no longer fit me well,
are sky blue
bright and light.
In a box I keep them
and I take them out of the house,
at the door I leave them,
the garbage truck will do its job.
Escucho un ruido feo,
y tras el sillón me meto,
me escondo, tengo miedo
hasta que descubró que es fuera del aposento
Es un azul insecto,
no sé que especie es este animalejo,
se emociona con los patines viejos
y se los mide sin recelo.

Aunque esta lejos,
escuchó los patines viejos,
el insecto es hábil con ellos
y ahora se mueve veloz como el viento.
Esto me enseñó algo,
que no debo guardar objetos olvidados,
es mejor compartirlos con agrado
para que los demás puedan disfrutarlos.
