Una Polilla con Anteojos / A Moth with Glasses
Dejo mis anteojos sobre la mesa
para descansar de estas,
de repente una polilla llega
y se sube sin problema.
Observa con atención las gafas
y se acerca para tomarlas
pero, algo pasa
y se doblan de forma apresurada.
I set my glasses down on the table
to give my eyes a rest,
when suddenly a moth flies in
and lands on them without a problem.
It looks closely at the glasses
and moves in to take them,
but something happens,
and they fold up in a hurry.
Cuando me doy cuenta de la situación
me acerco a ver qué paso
la polilla se esconde, miedo le doy
y tras las tijeras me mira con horror.
Con delicadeza desdoblo las gafas,
para que vea con aumento lo que pasa,
la polilla se acerca con ansias
y con esta vista se encanta.
When I realize what’s going on,
I go over to see what happened,
the moth hides, I’ve scared it,
and from behind the scissors, it stares at me in horror.
Gently, I unfold the glasses,
so it can see what’s happening up close.
The moth eagerly comes closer
and is enchanted by this view.
Se lleva las gafas,
las lanza de la mesa afanada
sale con estas, va emocionada
y llega hasta las plantas.
Ahora con los anteojos,
ve las hojas de mejor modo,
todo se detalla, esto es grandioso,
una polilla que observa con aumento todo.
She puts on her glasses,
hurriedly flings them off the table,
heads out wearing them, feeling excited,
and makes her way to the plants.
Now, with her glasses on,
she sees the leaves more clearly,
every detail is visible, this is amazing,
a moth observing everything through magnification.
