Una Pluma para Regalar / A Pen to Give as a Gift
Una polilla llega a la cocina
y ve un huevo con algo encima,
es una pluma parda y bonita
que le servirá para una amiga.
La polilla toma el huevo con cuidado
y se lo lleva rodando,
camina bastante rápido
y atraviesa el pavimento blanco.
A moth flies into the kitchen
and sees an egg with something on top of it
it’s a pretty brown feather
that will make a good friend for her.
The moth picks up the egg carefully
and rolls it along,
walking quite quickly
across the white floor.
El animal llega hasta su casa,
dónde tiene una cama de paja
en esta coloca el huevo con calma
para evitar que se parta.
Sobre el huevo se para
y toma la pluma con calma,
se la lleva con ansias,

The animal makes its way home,
where it has a bed of straw,

She comes to a meadow,
where there is a goose who feels ugly,

The moth lands on her tail,
and the goose feels beautiful,

La polilla se despide y se va,
quiere el huevo ir a cocinar,
