Una Pluma con nuevo Hogar / A Pen with a New Home

Entre la pared,
algo raro se ve nacer
es una pluma que verde es
es pequeña, apenas se ve.

Tomó una lupa para examinarla
y saber si algo le falta,
ahí descubro una tierna mirada
y decido con delicadeza retirarla.

Between the wall,
something strange begins to emerge,
it’s a green feather,
it’s small, barely visible.

I took a magnifying glass to examine it
and see if anything was missing,
and there I discovered a tender gaze,
so I gently decided to remove it

La llevo hasta la mesa
y le dejo una parte inmersa,
en agua que la hidrate con cautela
y le permita crecer con fuerza.

El tiempo pasa y no avanza,
la pluma no crece, no pasa nada
eso sí, conserva su tierna mirada
así que busco ayuda especializada.

I carry it to the table
and leave part of it submerged
in water that gently hydrates it
and allows it to grow strong.

Time passes but doesn’t move forward,
the feather doesn’t grow, nothing happens,
but it does retain its tender look,
so I seek expert help.

Llegó a la calle dónde está
un ave vigilando la ciudad,
le entrego la pluma con celeridad
y ella la recibe, le parece ideal.

La pone en su ala sin problema
y ahí ubicada la deja
ahora la pluma está en una zona amena
que le permitirá tener la vida que merece y anhela.

He arrived at the street where
a bird is watching over the city,
he quickly handed her the feather
and she accepted it; she thought it was perfect.

She placed it on her wing without any trouble
and left it there
now the feather is in a pleasant place
that will allow it to have the life it deserves and longs for.
