Una papa despampanante / A stunning potato
De una montaña de papas pardas,
se asoma una de tierna cara,
sale a explorar con ansías
para conocer lo que la acompaña
y estar segura que este hogar le agrada.
Encuentra una caja de mentas
y sin precaución la toma y la voltea,
deja salir las golosinas frescas
y sobre el suelo varias quedan
mientras la papa a pensar se sienta.
From a mountain of brown potatoes,
a tender-faced one peeps out,
