Una hoja con máscara / A sheet with mask
Este es un lindo jardín
y a mí me gusta caminar por aquí,
el aire fresco se puede sentir
y el sol brilla hasta la pared de ahí.
Cosas raras se suelen ver
como una hoja verde que encontré,
con manchas color beige
parecía una máscara ser.
This is a nice garden
and I like to walk around here,
the fresh air can be felt
and the sun shines up the wall there.
Weird things are usually seen
like a green leaf I found,

Y es que bien linda es,
por eso con gusto la usaré,
dos agujeros con mi mano le abriré
para poder por ahí ver.
Con este disfraz no me reconocerán,
nadie daño me hará
y por la pradera podré caminar,
seré invisible para los demás.

Un pájaro pasó y no me vio,
la hormiga tampoco me observó,
con la máscara nadie me notó,
mi propósito conseguí hoy.
Lo gracioso es que ese ser,
era una hoja verde también,
no necesitaba ocultarse bien
son semejantes y de un árbol cayeron alguna vez.
A bird passed by and did not see me,

es una hoja como la del disfraz que la hace sentir segura y sin miedo.
When you search a lot for something,

without recognizing that you are a privileged being.
