Una grata inauguración / A Pleasant Inauguration
En medio del mar hay una roca
dónde llega una carta volando sola,
es una invitación grandiosa,
para una estrella de la zona
que se acerca nadando habilidosa.
La estrella toma la carta con ilusión
y la lee con emoción
la invitan a una inauguración,
es algo que nunca pensó
pero irá, ella jamás dice que no.
In the middle of the sea there is a rock
where a letter arrives, flying in on its own,
it’s a grand invitation
for a local star
who swims skillfully toward it.
The star picks up the letter eagerly
and reads it with excitement,
she’s been invited to an opening,
something she never imagined,
but she’ll go, she never says no.
Arriba a la ciudad
y ahí busca a quien la llevará,
es un gato de graciosa tonalidad
que la invita en el burro trepar,
para más rápido poderla llevar.
Llegan a la casa de una abeja,
que recibe a la estrella contenta,
se saludan de forma amena
y el animal le explica a la estrella
que debe bañarse en el agua fresca.
Up to the city she goes,
and there she looks for someone to take her,
it’s a cat with a playful expression
who invites her to climb onto the donkey,
so he can take her there faster.
They arrive at a bee’s house,
where the bee happily welcomes the star,
they greet each other cheerfully,
and the animal explains to the star
that she must bathe in the cool water.
La estrella en un balde con agua
se sumerge con ansias
en este un buen rato nada,
hasta que la abeja dice: ¡basta!
es momento de que salga.
Cuando del balde se levanta,
la estrella queda encantada
le creció una cabellera rizada
y ella se siente magna,
ya no sera una estrella calva.
The star in a bucket of water
eagerly dives in,
It swims around for quite a while,
until the bee says, “Enough!”
It’s time for it to come out.
When it rises from the bucket,
the star is delighted,
a head of curly hair has grown,
and it feels magnificent,
it will no longer be a bald star.
Fue una inauguración especial
de una peluquería para estrellas de mar
y aunque en el mar no está
tiene una estilista profesional
una abeja que sabe el cabello cuidar.
It was a special grand opening
of a hair salon for starfish,
and even though it's not in the ocean,
it has a professional stylist,
