Una fresa en problemas / A strawberry in trouble

Las fresas han sido trituradas,
para hacer una mermelada,
sin embargo, una quedó casi intacta
sin un ojo, pero agraciada.

La fresa camina con cautela,
como si asustada fuera,
va despacio, se estrella,
contra todo se tropieza.

The strawberries have been crushed,
to make a jam,
however, one remained almost intact
without an eye, but graceful.

The strawberry walks cautiously,
as if frightened,
goes slowly, crashes,
against everything it stumbles.

La fruta un ojo perdió
y el otro se nubló
esto no tiene explicación,
la pobre ciega quedó.

Se sienta frente a una cuchara,
quiere entender lo que pasa,
y aunque no ve nada,
sus ojos limpia de forma cauta.

The fruit lost one eye
and the other one became cloudy
this has no explanation,
the poor blind woman was left.

She sits in front of a spoon,
wants to understand what is happening,
and although she sees nothing,
her eyes cautiously clean.

Cuando la mirada levanta,
la fresa sonríe emocionada,
su ojo no veía, sucio estaba
y la vista no estaba afectada.

La fresa encontró una solución
a una situación que mucho la asustó,
la fruta no se rindió
y una enseñanza se llevó hoy.

When looking up,
the strawberry smiles excitedly,
