Un títere verde / A green puppet
Un rojo pimentón picante,
de los que en la lengua arden,
salió con un títere agradable,
verde y de ojos grandes.
El pimentón buscó otra profesión,
no queria dar a las comidas sazón,
ser titiritero lo emocionó
y a esto sin pensarlo se dedicó.
A red hot paprika,
of those that burn on the tongue,
came out with a nice puppet,
green and with big eyes.
The paprika looked for another profession,
did not want to give to the meals seasoning,
to be a puppeteer excited him
and to this without thinking about it he dedicated himself.
Pero no tenía quien lo viera
y por eso un día tomo la maleta
guardó su marioneta
y se fue a buscar nueva audiencia.
Mucho camino recorrió,
por la nevera también caminó
y cuando frente al pan paso
estos lo observaron con admiración.
But he had no one to see him
and so one day he took his suitcase,
put his puppet
and went to look for a new audience.
He traveled a long way,
also passed by the refrigerator
and when he passed by the bread
they looked at him with admiration.
El pimentón se sintió emocionado
supo que a un buen lugar habia llegado,
sacó lo que en la maleta había guardado
e improvisó un escenario.
Hizo una pequeña obra teatral
y los panes rieron, felices están,
el pimentón se emocionó de más,
al saber que encontró la audiencia ideal.
The paprika felt excited
knew that he had arrived at a good place,
took out what he had kept in the suitcase
and improvised a stage.
He made a small theatrical play
and the breads laughed, happy they are,
the paprika was more excited,
knowing that he found the ideal audience.
