una calabaza de tono oscuro.

Cubierta va la calabaza
con un suéter que la tapa,
llega hasta donde las ollas plateadas
y observa en ellas su reflejo con calma.

Among the ripe tomatoes,

No le gusta lo que ve,
le falta un tallo para verse bien,
se marcha para el asunto resolver
y consigue un caballo color beige.

Llega donde está el cilantro
y toma una rama con cuidado,
la usa como tallo,
se ve mejor el fruto anaranjado.

Ahora que se siente completo,
deja el caballo y se va contento,
regresa donde están los tomates viejos
y se posa entre ellos.

Ya no se oculta detrás
decide en el frente estar,
orgulloso por el mundo va,
una calabaza con tallo de verdad.

Now that he feels complete,
