Un Shiitake empático / An empathetic Shiitake

En una esquina de la casa,
nació algo de tonalidad azulada
un hongo de apariencia agraciada
con manos y tierna mirada.

El hongo buen tiempo esperó,
miraba todo con ilusión
pero nada ni nadie llegó
y sin agua se deshidrato.

In a corner of the house,
was born something of bluish hue
a fungus of graceful appearance
with hands and tender look.

The mushroom waited for a long time,
looked at everything with illusion
but nothing and nobody came
and without water it dehydrated.

Pasaba por casualidad,
un hongo shiitake por el lugar,
al observar a su familiar,
se acercó para ver si podía ayudar.

El hongo azul estaba muy mal,
los signos vitales no estaban más
el shiitake lo arrastró sin pensar
para darle un entierro real.

He happened to pass by,
a shiitake mushroom by the place,
observing his relative,
approached to see if he could help.

The blue mushroom was in very bad shape,
vital signs were no longer
the shiitake dragged it without thinking
to give it a real burial.

Lo llevó hasta la cocina,
donde una lechuga había,
le quitó una hoja bien bonita
y se la colocó al hongo encima.

Una lagrima le dejó
y le dijó adiós,
aquel shiitake no lo conoció
pero le entristeció su partida sin amor.

She took him to the kitchen,
where there was a lettuce,
took a beautiful leaf
and placed it on top of the mushroom.

A tear left her
and she said goodbye,
that shiitake did not know him
but she was saddened by his unloved departure.

Sin embargo la lechuga fresca,
hidrató al hongo de forma plena,
este se levantó sin problema
y encontró la lágrima de tristeza.

La tomó con su mano y se marchó
a buscar a quien lloró,
con agradecimiento se la regresó
y el shiitake en el bolsillo la guardó.

However, the fresh lettuce,
hydrated the fungus fully,
this rose without problem
and found the tear of sadness.

He took it with his hand and left
to look for the one who cried,
with gratitude returned it to him
and the shiitake kept it in his pocket.
