Un Muñeco de Apoyo Emocional / An Emotional Support Doll
Una noche, en la cama me acosté
y me dormí con rapidez,
pero desperté, algo escuché
y la cabeza un poco levanté,
para ver qué podía ser.
Vi salir del armario
un ser bastante blanco
parecía un fantasma macabro
pero cuando me vió, se asustó demasiado
y volvió a guardarse afanado.
One night, I lay down in bed
and fell asleep quickly,
but I woke up, I heard something,
and lifted my head a little,
to see what it could be.
I saw a rather pale figure
emerge from the closet,
it looked like a macabre ghost,
but when it saw me, it got so scared
that it hurriedly hid itself away again.
El fantasma se quedó en aquel lugar,
amaneció y no lo ví más,
no puedo negar, me dió pesar,
se asustó solo con mi mirar
y decidí una solución encontrar.
Salí de la casa en la mañana
y fui a una tienda cercana,
regresé con un oso de tierna mirada
y junto al armario lo dejé con calma,
di un golpe, para ver si alguien se asomaba.
The ghost stayed in that spot,
dawn broke and I didn’t see it anymore,
I can’t deny it,I felt sorry for it,
it got scared just from my gaze,
and I decided to find a solution.
I left the house in the morning
and went to a nearby store,
I came back with a teddy bear with a gentle gaze
and quietly placed it next to the closet,
then knocked on the door to see if anyone would peek out.
Salió el fantasma del armario,
y tomó el oso que yo había dejado,
me acosté tras un rato
y el espectro apareció abrazando,
el oso que le dejé regalando.
Cuando el fantasma me vio
miedo ya no le dió,
tranquilo su camino siguió
y abrazando el oso de marchó,
quizá solo necesitaba un poco de amor.
The ghost came out of the closet,
and took the teddy bear I had left there,
I went to bed after a while,
and the ghost appeared, hugging
the teddy bear I had given him.
When the ghost saw me,
he wasn’t afraid anymore,
he calmly went on his way,
hugging the teddy bear as he left,
Maybe he just needed a little love.
Es que no era un regalo cualquiera
un oso de apoyo emocional era
y ahora camina sin problema,
por dónde quiera
con un muñeco que bienestar le genera.
