Un Huevo Especial / A Special Egg
Un ave de apariencia parda
lleva un nido bajo su ala
y cuando encuentra una zona apta,
ahí lo deja y se marcha.
Pasan los días y nada pasa,
hasta que el ave regresa afanada,
un gran huevo arrastra,
que encontró solo en una casa.
A brown looking bird
carries a nest under its wing,
and when it finds a suitable spot,
it leaves the nest there and flies away.
Days go by and nothing happens,
until the bird returns in a hurry,
dragging a large egg
that it found all by itself in a house.
El ave deja el huevo en el nido
y lo abriga con amor infinito,
sobre él se posa con estilo
esperando que incube un poquito.
El ave de repente siente movimiento
y observa todo con detenimiento,
¡Qué sorpresa y qué insólito hecho!
al huevo le creció pelo.
The bird lays the egg in the nest
and shelters it with infinite love,
perching gracefully above it,
waiting for it to hatch a little.
Suddenly, the bird senses movement
and observes everything closely.
What a surprise, and what an unusual occurrence!
The egg has grown hair.
El huevo debía eclosionar,
con el calor que el ave le quiso dar,
pero le creció pelo de verdad
y tras un rato abre dos ojos de negra tonalidad.
El ave no puede rechazar lo que crió
lo ama sin condición
y aunque no es lo que pensó,
sabe que es bueno porque ella lo incubo.
The egg was supposed to hatch,
with the warmth the bird wanted to give it,
but it grew real fur
and after a while, it opened two dark eyes.
The bird cannot reject what she raised,
she loves it unconditionally,
and even though it’s not what she expected,
she knows it’s good because she incubated it.
