Un hongo y una papa agricultores / A mushroom and a potato farmer.

Estoy mirando la pradera,
algo caminando se acerca,
es pardo, parece una bestia
o quizás una tigresa
hasta que sus ojos me muestra.

Es un hongo camuflado,
de león viene disfrazado,
una seta de color morado
y sin miedo pasa a mi lado,
hasta que llega a el lugar deseado.

I am looking at the meadow,
something walking approaches,
it is brown, it looks like a beast
or perhaps a tigress
until its eyes reveal it to me.

It is a camouflaged mushroom,
disguised as a lion,
a purple mushroom
and fearlessly passes by me,
until it reaches its desired destination.

En la cocina se sube a la mesa
y explora lo que hay en ella
va con cautela
y a las papas se acerca,
sin miedo entre ellas se trepa.

Hay una papa distinta,
es pequeña y bastante amarilla,
se pone el disfraz que el hongo traía
y así huye tranquila,
del lugar que la mantenía cautiva.

In the kitchen, it climbs onto the table
and explores what's there.
It moves cautiously
and approaches the potatoes,
climbing fearlessly among them.

There's one potato that's different,
small and quite yellow.
It puts on the disguise that the mushroom was wearing
and quietly escapes
from the place that held it captive.

El hongo y la papa amarilla,
llegan a una parcela baldía,
ahí siembran y la tierra cuidan,
esperando que nazca vida
y puedan tener una cosecha productiva.

Tras algunas semanas de trabajo,
crecen plantas del suelo pardo
el objetivo van logrando
un hongo y una papa que ser agricultores soñaron
y hoy lo están logrando.

The mushroom and the yellow potato
arrive at a vacant plot of land,
where they sow seeds and tend the soil,
hoping that life will sprout
and they will have a productive harvest.

After several weeks of work,
plants grow from the brown soil.
They are achieving their goal:
a mushroom and a potato who dreamed of becoming farmers
and are now making their dream come true.
