Un gorro para el sol / A sun hat

Un hombre quería un gorro,
para protegerse del sol odioso,
no quería quemar su rostro
y fue a comprar uno hermoso.

Se probó uno con cara de rana,
pero poca protección le daba,
el de reno su atención llamaba,
pero tampoco era lo que buscaba.

A man wanted a hat,
to protect himself from the hateful sun,
did not want to burn his face
and went to buy a beautiful one.

He tried on one with a frog face,
but it gave him little protection,
the reindeer one caught his attention,
but it wasn't what he was looking for either.

Tomó uno verde con rojo,
era grande y se veía sin rostro,
eso sí, abrigaba grandioso,
pero no servía para el sol pomposo.

Entre varios gorros más,
eligió uno de Mickey Mouse,
era tierno, con orejas de verdad
sin embargo, para el sol no iba a funcionar.

ahora el sol no quemará su rostro.
