Un Astro de Buena Sabor / A Delicious Treat
La Luna llegó a casa,
y se sentó en una silla parda
en la mesa habían unas galletas opacas
y se quedó mirandolas.
Luego se le ocurrió una idea
y tomó una galleta con delicadeza,
es redonda, perfecta
y se marchó con ella.
The Moon came home,
and sat down in a brown chair,
on the table were some plain cookies,
and she just stared at them.
Then an idea occurred to her,
and she gently picked up a cookie,
it’s round, perfect,
and walked away with it.
Salió a la gran ciudad
y espero a que llegara la oscuridad,
voló con gran agilidad
y se poso en el firmamento con habilidad.
Dejó la galleta en el cielo,
parece una Luna de color negro,
regresó a su aposento
contenta del nuevo astro que ha puesto.
She went out into the big city
and waited for darkness to fall,
she flew with great agility
and landed in the sky with skill.
She left the cookie in the sky,
it looks like a black moon,
she returned to her room
happy with the new star she had placed there.
Cuando amaneció,
el sol muy rápido llegó
y cuando la galleta observó
de inmediato se la comió.
Es que era un astro de gran sabor
y el sol hambriento llegó,

When dawn broke,
the sun came up very quickly,
