Un árbol para la mesa de Navidad / A tree for the Christmas table

Feliz Navidad
Merry Christmas
Hello friends of the GEMS community, today is a special night, we celebrate Christmas and in Colombia we like to decorate the house, make dinner and decorate the place. Some time ago I made a Christmas tree with egg honeycombs, about 10 cm, that is to say small and it was very nice. For that reason, since a few days ago, I had thought of making a bigger one to decorate the Christmas table.
To do it I needed 3 egg honeycombs, a cardboard roll, hot silicone, scissors, some ribbons and colored pompoms.
The first thing to do is to cut the egg honeycomb into pieces, the shape does not matter, of course, they should not be too small, but not too big either. Once we have the egg honeycombs in pieces, with the hot silicone we put small pieces in the roll and give it the shape of a tree. The process is not difficult, but it does take some time, because you have to make sure it takes a nice shape.

Now comes the decoration part, we can put colored pompoms, ribbons, or any ornament that looks nice. I also made a few white paints and finished with a golden bell as a star at the top of the tree. I had some wire lights, which are battery operated and I put them on as well, to brighten up my Christmas tree.

This way we had a Christmas tree of 30 cm high, colorful, with lights and that will be the perfect decoration to complement the table at the Christmas dinner. I placed it as a centerpiece, we also placed the Christmas tableware and later we will put some snacks to eat while dinner is ready.
