Soy una gran escritora
y trabajo por varias horas,
hasta que las ideas se agotan
y dejo el lapicero sobre la hoja.
Me voy a descansar
y en la noche alguien llega sin avisar,
entra y se pone a observar
las notas que escribí con serenidad.
I'm a great writer,
and I work for several hours,
until my ideas run out
and I set my pen down on the page.
I go to rest,
and at night someone arrives unannounced,
comes in, and begins to look over
the notes I wrote so calmly.
Siento ruidos en la habitación
y voy a ver qué pasó,
prendo la luz y algo se cayó,
lo recojo, es un ser lleno de color.
Lo dejó de nuevo sobre las hojas
y acabo de escribir esta historia,
tengo nuevas ideas, ahora me sobran
la inspiración volvió de forma asombrosa.
I hear noises in the room
and go to see what happened,
I turn on the light and something has fallen,
I pick it up, it’s a creature full of color.
I set it down again on the pages
and have just finished writing this story,
I have new ideas, now I have more than enough,
inspiration has returned in an amazing way.
Cuando terminó mi trabajo
dejo las notas de lado
apagó la luz, para que el ser extraño
siga todo explorando.
Toma el lapicero que he dejado

When I finished my work,
I set my notes aside

When I go back to see what he wrote,
I find a heart drawn there,

because he liked what I wrote.

he loves books more than anything,
