Que regrese la zanahoria / Bring back the carrot

The salad is on the table, there is little left, it is that the carrot is inattentive and does not cooperate for dinner.

Ella estaba en el plato
y se salió sin motivo claro,
se fue rápido caminando,
a darse un baño.

She was on the plate and walked out for no clear reason, she quickly walked away, to take a bath.

Metió la cabeza en el vaso con agua,
la meneó para estar fresca en la mañana,
salió de ahí, líquido goteaba
y no le importó, el desorden que dejaba.

She put her head in a glass of water and shook it to be cool in the morning, she got out of there and liquid dripped from her hair, she didn't care, the mess she left in her wake.

Y la ensalada ahí se quedó,
con la zanahoria no se sabe que pasó,
algún día volverá por esta habitación,
para completar la cena que olvidada dejó.

And the salad stayed there, with the carrot we don't know what happened, someday it will return to this room, to complete the dinner it left behind.
