¿Qué pasó con la berenjena? / What happened to the eggplant?
Una berenjena entra corriendo,
¡pobre verdura!, está huyendo,
una hormiga la viene persiguiendo
y la va a alcanzar en algún momento.
Tras un rato la hormiga regresa
y lleva cargada la berenjena,
es fuerte y el peso no le molesta,
logró cazar la verdura violeta.
An eggplant comes running in,
poor vegetable! It's running away,
an ant is chasing it

Un día después llega el Shiitake
y ve a la hormiga con un morado traje,
asume que aquí paso algo alarmante
y que usó a la berenjena para hacer el ropaje.
El hongo Shiitake toma a la hormiga
y la zarandea sin medida,
el insecto con calma le explica
que la berenjena está segura y viva.

Llegan a una habitación decorada,
donde la berenjena trabaja,
ella tiñe las telas con habilidad mágica
y de blancas pasan a moradas.
Le regala un trozo al Shiitake
y la hormiga le hace un traje,
ahora el hongo se viste elegante
y sabe que a su amiga no la dañó nadie.

Algunas veces asumimos una situación,
sin hacer una investigación,
emitimos juicios por error,
por eso el diálogo es la mejor opción.
