Preparándose para Halloween/ Getting ready for Halloween

Un gato aburrido,
se acerca a unos frutos amarillos,
entre ellos se mueve con estilo,
hasta que saca uno vestido.

Es un banano con atuendo azulado
y el gato lo va llevando,
es grande, debe arrastrarlo,
el fruto no huye, va calmado.

A bored cat
approaches some yellow fruits,
moving gracefully among them,
until it pulls out one that is dressed up.

It is a banana wearing a blue outfit,
and the cat carries it away.
It is large, so it has to drag it along,
but the fruit does not run away; it remains calm.

Lo lleva a su casa,
donde en un cajón azul escarba,
sacan un traje de costuras raras
y el banano lo usa con gracia.

El gato también busca su atuendo
uno con tres colores bellos,
lo usa, le queda perfecto,
irán a una fiesta de ensueño.

He takes it home,
where he rummages through a blue drawer,
pulls out a suit with unusual stitching,
and the banana wears it with grace.

Ahora necesitan un carruaje
y el gato un caballo de madera trae,
le ponen un azul traje,
de ballena y que le queda radiante.

El gato en el carruaje de ballena se va
y el banano los sigue atrás,
desde ya preparándose están,
para el halloween que pronto llegará.

Now they need a carriage,
and the cat brings a wooden horse.
They dress it in a blue suit,
made of whale skin, which looks radiant on it.
