Una hoja ha caído sin razón
y sobre el pavimento se posó,
una zombie la miraba sin preocupación.
hasta que un auto pasó.
El automotor no la vio
y sobre ella pasó,
la hoja aplastada quedó
y la zombie a casa la llevó.
A leaf fell for no reason
and landed on the pavement,
a zombie looked at it without concern.
Until a car drove by.
The car didn't see it
and ran over it,
the crushed leaf remained
and the zombie took it home.
La colocó en un jarrón,
pensó que el agua la pondría mejor,
unas horas esperó
pero nada, nada ocurrió.
Luego la puso sobre un árbol
la zombie tenía algunos guardados,
en una rama la dejo colgando
y esperó un tiempo largo.
He placed it in a vase,
thinking that water would make it better,
he waited a few hours
but nothing, nothing happened.
Then he put it on a tree
the zombie had some stored away,
he left it hanging on a branch
and waited a long time.

y se alegraron los dos.

When the tree checked,
it found the renewed leaf,
the zombie saved it,
and they were both happy.
The zombie on that street
puts up a sign with enthusiasm,
wanting to prevent cars from passing by
and damaging the leaves that fall there.
