elegante y con imponencia.
Es una canina estrella,
que va en su silla de ruedas,
demostrando que para ser bella,
solo necesita ser ella,
libre y sin mantener apariencias.

Hola amigos de la comunidad Hive Diy, primero les voy a contar de donde llega esta idea y es que hace unos días mi hermano compró vino y al ver estos pequeños corchos que tapaban la botella, de inmediato vino a mi mente, una perrita en silla de ruedas.

No es un evento aislado, pues una perrita llamada Naty que entregué en adopción hace varios años a una de mis mejores amigas, tras su adopción, tuvo un accidente que le generó una lesión en su columna, que no le permitió volver a caminar, sin embargo, se le compró una silla de ruedas para perros y así vivió por varios años más. Ya Naty no está, hace un año murió de viejita y tras mirar el corcho, se me ocurrió esta linda idea.

Hello friends of the Hive Diy community, first I am going to tell you where this idea comes from and it is that a few days ago my brother bought wine and when he saw these small corks that covered the bottle, immediately came to my mind, a little dog in a wheelchair.

It is not an isolated event, because a dog named Naty that I gave up for adoption several years ago to one of my best friends, after her adoption, had an accident that caused an injury to her spine, which did not allow her to walk again, however, she was bought a wheelchair for dogs and so she lived for several more years. Naty is no longer here, a year ago she died of old age and after looking at the cork, I came up with this nice idea.

Para la elaboración necesité un corcho de los de vino, alambre, pedazos de tela, aguja e hilo, pegamento. Tomé el corcho de manera horizontal y le pasé el alambre por uno de los extremos, tenía claro que este sería la base de la silla de ruedas. Tomé dos tapas de gaseosa y les abrí un agujero por donde pasé el alambre, este lo doblé y así quedó lista la silla de ruedas. También le coloqué otro alambre que serían las patas delanteras y la que sería la cabeza.

For the elaboration I needed a wine cork, wire, pieces of fabric, needle and thread, glue. I took the cork horizontally and passed the wire through one of the ends, it was clear to me that this would be the base of the wheelchair. I took two soda caps and opened a hole through which I passed the wire, I bent it and the wheelchair was ready. I also placed another wire that would be the front legs and the one that would be the head.

Ahora debía darle vida a este ser y empecé con sus patas delanteras. Luego hice su cara, recorté diversos trozos de tela para hacer la cabeza, los bigotes, las cejas, la nariz y finalmente adherí todo con hilo y aguja. Una vez tenia todas las partes,coloqué los trozos de tela en cada sitio y adherí con un poco de pegamento.

Now I had to give life to this being and I started with his front legs. Then I made the face, cut out several pieces of fabric to make the head, the whiskers, the eyebrows, the nose and finally I put it all together with thread and needle. Once I had all the parts, I placed the pieces of fabric in each place and attached them with some glue.

Así se elaboró la pequeña Naty, que ya no está con nosotros, pero que nos enseñó que ante la adversidad, puedes sacar tu mejor versión y continuar, caminando siempre hacia adelante, con paso firme y sin miedo.

Espero les haya gustado esta figura, que representa el amor y las ganas de salir adelante, porque a pesar de la discapacidad, Naty fue feliz, corrio, paseó y vivió más de lo esperado.

This is how little Naty was made, who is no longer with us, but who taught us that in the face of adversity, you can take your best version and continue, always walking forward, with a firm step and without fear.
