Hola querida comunidad Hive Diy, siempre es un gusto pasar por acá y traerles una nueva idea. El sábado me fui a un paseo con Iris, un lugar bello con una pequeña fuente de agua y mientras caminaba me encontré un trozo de madera con una forma muy especial. Es que, al ver este trozo de madera, vino a mi mente un ala, su forma irregular y sus diversas texturas, la hacian ver como un ala con plumas primarias, secundarias y hasta cobertoras.

No lo dude y la levanté, porque sabía que con ese trozo de madera podría crear un personaje especial.

Hello dear Hive Diy community, it's always a pleasure to stop by and bring you a new idea. On Saturday I went for a walk with Iris, a beautiful place with a small water fountain and while I was walking I found a piece of wood with a very special shape. When I saw this piece of wood, a wing came to my mind, its irregular shape and its different textures made it look like a wing with primary, secondary and even covering feathers. I didn't hesitate and picked it up, because I knew that with that piece of wood I could create a special character.

Y es que lo que para algunos es basura, para otros es la oportunidad de crear algo. Hoy vengo a presentarles este amigo, colorido, de mirada tierna, que lleva el color de la montaña en su traje, un trozo de nube como bluza y el color del cielo en su rostro. Un personaje mágico y que transmite ternura, compasión, amistad, con una sola ala, porque a veces no se necesita de dos para sentirse completo.

Today I come to present you this friend, colorful, with a tender look, who wears the color of the mountain in his suit, a piece of cloud as a bluza and the color of the sky on his face. A magical character that transmits tenderness, compassion, friendship, with only one wing, because sometimes you don't need two to feel complete.

Proceso de elaboración/Elaboration process

Para la cabeza se utilizó paño lency de color azul, también un trozo de color piel y un poco de tela violeta clara. Le hice orejas largas, para darle un poco de visibilidad a su cabeza y que resaltara con estos elementos en forma de punta. Todo se va cosiendo con aguja e hilo y se colocó un pompón azul como nariz, para dar volumen a su rostro. El siguiente paso es ponerle algodón sintético como relleno a la cabeza.

For the head I used blue lency cloth, also a piece of skin color and some light purple fabric. I made long ears, to give a little visibility to his head and to make it stand out with these elements in the shape of a point. Everything is sewn with needle and thread and a blue pompom was placed as a nose, to give volume to her face. The next step is to put synthetic cotton as stuffing to the head.

Cabeza/Head

Para el cuerpo usamos un esqueleto de alambre, para dar sostén y también para permitir el movimiento de las extremidades. Colocamos la cabeza y empezamos a cubrir brazos y piernas con tela, de manera envolvente con pegamento. Para la bluza, utilicé un tela de oveja, así daba la apariencia de que su camisa era una nube. Lleva un entereza verde, que le da ese toque inocente a la figura y finalmente termine con unos zapatos oscuros.

For the body we use a wire skeleton, to give support and also to allow the movement of the limbs. We placed the head and began to cover the arms and legs with fabric, wrapping them with glue. For the blouse, I used a sheep cloth, so it gave the appearance that his shirt was a cloud. She wears a green entereza, which gives that innocent touch to the figure and finally I finished with some dark shoes.

Cuerpo + cabeza / Body + Head

Se le adhiere con pegamento el pedazo de madero que encontré en el paseo y que es el objeto que inspiró esta figura, original y elaborada a mano. Me despido, invitándolos a que construyan lo que quieran, las telas, el cartón, él plástico, son elementos que sirven para imaginar cosas y crearlas.

The piece of wood that I found on the walk and that is the object that inspired this figure, original and handmade, is glued to it. I say goodbye, inviting you to build whatever you want, the fabrics, the cardboard, the plastic, are elements that serve to imagine things and create them.
