Mi perro protector y benévolo / My protective and kind dog
He ido a un vivero cercano
y un cactus he comprado,
en la sala lo he ubicado,
tendrá luz y estará abrigado.
Lo dejó en compañía de mi perro,
que es protector y benévolo,
me voy a trabajar sin miedo
sé que se cuidarán mientras regreso.
I went to a nearby nursery
and bought a cactus,
I placed it in the living room,
it will have light and be sheltered.
I left it in the company of my dog,
who is protective and kind,
I go to work without fear,
knowing they will take care of each other while I am gone.

While I'm not at home,
my dog approaches the plant,
and a strange figure emerges from it,
a mosquito that bites his face.
And when I arrive,
I see the bite on my poor dog,
I wipe away the blood that flowed from it,
and he explains to me that an animal did this to him.

Del cactus sale el insecto
y yo defiendo a mi perro,
The insect emerges from the cactus,
and I defend my dog,
grabbing it and asking it to go away,
and the animal leaves, disconsolate.
My dog is protective and benevolent,
feeling sad for the insect,
stopping it and inviting it to live in the room,
on the condition that it does not bite him again.

Very nice work as always friends 🤗
That moment when the dog invites the mosquito to stay, with the no bite rule, felt so tender and wise. I love how you turn a tiny home scene into a gentle peace treaty; like a no bite contract that even a cactus could approve :) Your rhythm is smooth and the kindness lands softly, it definately brightened my evening. Your storytelling is warm and your so good at giving even a small insect a place.
