Mi amiga el agua / My Friend, Water

Viene un dinosaurio albino,
navegando tranquilo,
usa un tronco para no ir sumergido
y choca con una roca de imprevisto.

Pierde el tronco que flota
y el dinosaurio entra en zozobra,
con fuerza se agarra de una roca
con la ayuda de una pequeña gota.

An albino dinosaur comes along,
swimming calmly,
using a log to keep from sinking,
and suddenly crashes into a rock.

It loses the floating log,
and the dinosaur starts to sink,
clinging tightly to a rock
with the help of a drop.

Es una gota de agua,
que luego del lugar se marcha,
el dinosaurio la busca con ansias
hasta que la oscuridad lo alcanza.

Cuando el amanecer se acerca,
un nuevo tronco aparece en la escena,
la gota de agua lo lleva con fuerza
y al lado de la roca esperan.

It is a drop of water,
which soon drifts away,
the dinosaur searches for it eagerly
until darkness overtakes him.

As dawn approaches,
a new log appears on the scene,
the drop of water carries it along with great force,
and they wait beside the rock.

Cuando el dinosaurio despierta,
a la gota de agua, que ha crecido encuentra,
no lo abandonó, volvió con una idea,
un nuevo tronco para pasear sin problema.

El dinosaurio en el tronco se va
y la gota de agua los arrastra sin más,
es una bonita amistad,
no sé abandonan y siempre juntos están.

When the dinosaur wakes up,
he finds the water drop that has grown,
it didn’t leave him—it came back with an idea:
a new log to ride on without a care.

The dinosaur climbs onto the log,
and the water drop carries them both away,
it’s a beautiful friendship,
they never leave each other and are always together.
