Mi abuelita despistada / My absent-minded grandmother

Mi abuela siempre sale a pasear
y lleva a su perro Jonas,
él es marrón y muy leal,
un buen chico que la sabe cuidar.

Mi abuelita busca una banca,
se recuesta para ver las nubes claras,
Jonas se aburre y se marcha
sin que mi abuela se entere de nada.

En la ausencia de Jonas,
llega un bicho de azul tonalidad,
junto a mi abuela se sienta a esperar
y cuando ella despierta, ahí esta.

My grandmother always goes out for walks
and takes her dog Jonas with her,
he is brown and very loyal,
a good boy who knows how to take care of her.

My grandmother looks for a bench,
lies down to watch the clear clouds,
Jonas gets bored and leaves
without my grandmother noticing.

In Jonas' absence,
a blue-colored bug arrives,
sits next to my grandmother and waits,
and when she wakes up, there it is.

Mi abuela es bastante despistada,
saluda al bicho con elegancia,
luego lo toma y se marchan,
mientras Jonas se sienta en la banca.

Llegan los dos a casa
y ella se siente cansada,
en un sofá descansa
hasta que ve la foto de Jonas y se espanta.

La foto no se parece a su perro,
y la compara con su compañero,
no son iguales, es un bicho nuevo
y mi abuela se siente mal con el suceso.

My grandmother is quite absent-minded,
she greets the animal elegantly,
then picks it up and they leave,
while Jonas sits on the bench.

They both arrive home
and she feels tired,
she rests on the sofa
until she sees Jonas's photo and is shocked.

The photo doesn't look like her dog,
and she compares it to her companion,
they're not the same, it's a new animal
and my grandmother feels bad about what happened.

Sale inmediatamente de casa
y deja al bicho en la sala,
no fue capaz de decirle que se vaya,
es un ser vivo que necesita una morada.

Cuando ella regresa,
trae a Jonas con ella,
al bicho y al perro presenta,
ahora serán familia aunque con diferente apariencia.

Mi abuela tiene un gran corazón
y no dejaría un bicho que a casa llevó
así que lo adoptó
y ahora en casa los tres vivirán sin complicación.

She leaves the house immediately
and leaves the creature in the living room,
she couldn't bring herself to tell it to leave,
it's a living being that needs a home.

When she returns,
she brings Jonas with her,
and introduces him to the bug and the dog,
now they will be a family, even if they look different.

My grandmother has a big heart
and wouldn't leave a bug she brought home behind,
so she adopted it,
and now the three of them will live together without complications.
